    yeah, way too early, but i didn't realize how much of philly's salary was coming off next year. it's interesting. can they sell embiid on a quick rebuild? so hard because he probably only has so many healthy seasons in the tank. also, philly's not a huge FA draw.

    KOC speculated, based on no inside information, that Morey probably wants to bring LeBron to Philly next summer with a promise to do whatever it takes to get Bronny (if that's still even on the table, hope the kid is doing okay). I'm sure he does but I can't see it. There was some speculation that LeBron would go to Philly in 2018 with a young Embiid and Simmons, turned out he was always coming here.

    I'd keep an eye on Kawhi or PG going to Philly. I don't think they (but moreso Kawhi) will take kindly to anything below a maximum extension offer. If the Clippers won't give them that, Philly might just be a better option at this point. Easier to load manage in the East.
