One good thing about Vincent is he got a ton of playoff minutes. Even against Denver he was at 28mpg.
The Nunn signining on top of going away from Caruso was always more of a red flag to me was that Spoelstra used him sparingly and only if had to in the playoffs. Looking thru the year after the bubble he got 23mpg in one round loss to the Bucks but the prior year he got only 15mpg in the playoffs even though Dragic was ancient but still effecgtive

 …. what a loser/tool if he takes that course of action. Guess it’s on Morey maybe though if he promised him they’d work out more money with a new contract after “Haren” taking less last season.

The problem is everyone has seen what Harden is capable of at this stage of career when putting in "effort" and it's being maybe the 4th best player in a playoff series. Add in that he's 33 and he's never been able to get back to the athletic ability he had before he went Fat Harden the first time, I don't see any team giving him max kind money for 3-4 years right now let alone if he looks bloated and lethargic to start the season.

Feels like Barkley in Houston stage of career for Harden frankly

Pay him nothing then? Call his bluff and get exemption for his salary? Sue him?

philly probably wanted mann from the clips but they were only willing to give up powell/covington/morris

sixers need to find a way to deal him ASAP even if it means taking a lesser deal, or else he'll be seeing this again next season

harden situation is so interesting to me. i know i've been over it, but i can't stress enough that morey really screwed him over, and now he's got some power because of a) the fat suit situation and b) his contract is up.

i've been railing about portland not giving up lillard for junk because of his contract status, and i think philly may have to give up harden for junk due to his. problem is that morey has too much pride to just accept the clippers' junk, but harden has enough power to force his way to the clippers because he can just walk next year. so i'd look for a star that folks think is overpaid/unhappy (lavine? someone like this) to go to philly for the clips' junk plus an asset from philly.

Harden has been asking to be traded every year since he was at the Rockets, and for the franchise to get rid of his co-star every year before that.

he's one of if not the most toxic player in the league. I have no idea how he escapes the media and fans bashing compared to guys like Kyrie.

i think the fans have always killed harden moreso than the media (who have, unforgivably, given him a HUGE pass time and time again). but in this one case, i think harden's the aggrieved party. he could have opted out and taken a supermax-type extension, but didn't so that morey could pay tucker. he got a wink-wink from his brother in beerguts, and then got bamboozled. now he's like...uhhh...i made your starched-collar-calculator-wieldin' a**, and you're about to be done in this league when you trade me for marcus morris and embiid demands out.

I feel like he's increasingly irrelevant, but he did just lead the league in assists. Still a baller.

Morey is a POS for going back on their agreement, but I don't know how anyone who has watched him operate as an exec can be surprised. I hate them both, they really deserved each other and it's a shame their relationship is fractured because piling on was fun. You know Embiid is 100% watching this, future FAs are watching this, this is going to hurt Morey's ability to get guys. I wish it was literally (almost) anyone but Harden this was happening to, because I want to sympathize but I can't because of how Harden has treated every situation he's been in. This is his karma. I still think he'll get his way at the end of the day. I hope he's 275 pounds by the time Morey sends him to the Clippers.

Do we know for certain there was an agreement? I thought this was just conjecture.
