Dafuq is this crap, Kerr, you mfer? Austin isn't good enough to be in the 10 starting there? f*** you.
I was actually wondering if Austin will start. Here’s a not so hot take. If he’s not starting yet, he’ll either be starting or closing games by the end.
I don't think he'll start. I do think there will be a chance to close some, though. I could see he and Hart battling for that connecting offense, defensive glue guy off the bench. I think the starters are: JJJ BI Bridges ? Brunson At the SG, I'm not sure if it'll be Haliburton or Ant. I think Haliburton translates better to international play and maybe they let Ant be the offensive bucket getter off the bench. I think backup minutes get delved out to whoever is left out of that 5, then Banchero will be the first big off the bench, and that 8-10 group is tight based on need. In no order, I think that's Hart, AR, and Cam Johnson.
This are the kind of things that you like hearing from a young guy getting his opportunity Sage advise and he's taking heed
Game tonight. AR is even headlining the graphic. From the playoff showing to the shoe deal to going on national pods to the new contract to the international play and that level of exposure... this really is the summer of Austin. Only to be rivaled by
The 6’5 guard is a talented creator with the ball in his hands, and a willing shooter from deep. He’s the first undrafted player to make the senior national team in a big tournament since Brad Miller in 2006.
lol, i hated miller. but i respected him. he couldn't play in the modern nba, though. tough, smart, pretty large, but just not quite enough. interestingly, sabonis is a similar--but supercharged/modernized version, imo.
