My list is simple and straightforward:

    Jordan, Bron, Kareem

    ***

Now, these guys can go in any order:

    Magic, Kobe, Bird, Shaq, Duncan

    ***

If you want old school players here:

    Wilt, Russell

    ***

    If you don't:

    Hakeem, Steph

I feel like Duncan is really overvalued. Those last few rings in his twilight years have really changed the story from being around that Steph Curry level to some having him in the top 5.

Damn ….. I’d pony up $40 :giggle: for a prime lower section seat to watch those two squads going at it in a best of seven series. Wow!!

Agree. He was still good, but nowhere near the best player of that 2014 title team.

Typical pale skin minimum show us you can really ball deal - probably non guaranteed lol

glad he’s getting a shot. The young man can shoot, but is it enough to overcome holes in his game?

I find it very hard to make these kinds of lists because I can’t really know how good players before my time were from clips.

I started watching Lakers games in junior high when Magic was leading the team. I think I remember Kareem a little at the end of his career, but I couldn’t really understand the nuance of the game then.

I mostly remember AC Green’s jerry curl dripping all over the court :D

Actually feel like the bench might beat the starters in this scenario, much more balanced team.

    dream series type of scenarios

Hard to imagine peak Shaq not in one of those places though. You kind of have to decide if you are talking about each one of these players at the peak of their powers or not.

I think he has a case for being the best player on that 2014 team tbh. 2nd on the team in ppg. Lead the team in rebounds and blocks per game. 2nd in VORP behind Kawhi. 4th in WS/48 behind Kawhi, Ginobili and Mills. Lead the team in PER. 2nd in minutes per game (29.2, Parker played 29.4 and Kawhi was 29.1). He actually played in 74/82 games, which surprised me. Did not make All-NBA in 2014 but was First Team in 2013 and Second Team in 2015.

It's really between him and Kawhi for best player on that team. The WCF series against OKC was their toughest series that year and he's the one that took over down the stretch of that game.
