That’s why he only won 1 fluke ring with the “ big 3”.

Well he did clarify that Lebron and Steph are still playing and he's only including players whose careers are over, but still..

Boston Swinger Jaylen Brown has reached an agreement with the club for the largest contract extension in NBA history for $304 million.

According to Florida journalist Ira Vinderman, Jimmy Butler expects a bigger contract from Miami than Brown.:ADORLY2:

The 33-year-old Butler's current deal includes a player option for the 25/26 season ($52.4 million).

76 NBA players, according to Spotrac, who will earn at least $20 million this coming season, including the Heat’s Jimmy Butler ($45.2 million), Bam Adebayo ($32.6 million), Kyle Lowry ($29.7 million) and Tyler Herro ($27 million). As Sportico notes, 32 of the 50 largest contracts in North American sports, by annual value, are held by NBA players.
The numbers by themselves are somewhat absurd regarding grown men in short pants throwing a ball through a circle.

He's got good size. Isn't this like their 24th player they've signed?

shams kind of a shameless mouthpiece in this situation. you can see how carefully he's choosing his words and who's supplying him with information.

pure and simple: teams can beat what miami was trying to get lillard for. lots of them. and they will. because lillard is under contract long term, and players of his caliber are in short supply.

still love that miami is holding back assets, too. that's f***ing rich. and i bet it's part of why this all happened. had riley just thrown the entire house at portland from the beginning, i think it just gets done. but they're quibbling over jaime jaquez or some b*******. i'm out at that point, tbh. i'll deal with anyone but you.

“Preparing an offer” always cracks me up, what does that even mean. I’m pretty sure you just call Cronin and saw “now we’re offering 3 picks instead of 2” lol. There’s not a room full of lawyers at Heat headquarters frantically typing up an 80 page trade offer document.

wasn't champagnie a spurs find first? i can't keep track. he interested me in the draft a couple years ago.

windy carrying heat water, too. riley must be as good working the press as morey is, tbh. not sure why i'm surprised, as he's gotten away with murder for years (the anthony carter contract thing was f***ing insane, as was udonis haslem turning down double his salary in FA that one time).

i love that everyone just buys that portland's front office is run by a hamster and a chimp or something. they hold the card people want. it doesn't matter to them if they suck this year. it doesn't matter to them if future FAs don't like them (they already don't go there!). lillard says he'll sit; i say we'll let you, bro. until miami comes with something close to what phx gave for kd, i'm hanging up the phone. i have to spend this money anyway. let's let lillard completely ruin his legacy by being a little b****. i'm here for it.

That's real shame. It was their only chance to have champagne in the post-season.

Piss off side of the backboard P. Does anyone actually still want PG on the Lakers? He’s got Clipper stink on him now that will never wash off.

IDK man...Dame isn't KD though. Durant is a two time Finals MVP. Dame has never been to the Finals, and is more comparable to Beal IMO. Except he's smaller, 3 years older, missed more games over the last 4 seasons, and is owed more money. I'm not so sure, that Portland is going to get a king's ransom, for Dame at all.
