I think they can only do it with a sign and trade at this point.

If the Lakers really wanted a player with that agent, do you really think they are going to bring up, remember when you made us look bad? Especially if that player is a star player.

I don't think it matters and in the same breath that agent won't have many clients if he's known for pissing teams off and not seeing his clients.

Bryant agrees to restructure his $24M salary by 75% and hand it outright for Aldridge? Yeeaaahhh...right.

Dont think mia even has to meet with lma since they dont have cap space to sign him unless a sign & trade is involved

Well, we're not salvaging free agency at this point, right? I still think it's damage control. Whatever, though.

Yeah. Free agency is a fail absent some complete hail mary.

I just don't get why people are overreacting to some writer or radio guy expressing an opinion as if it's fact when they have no clue.

I've thought the trade route is the only advantage we have in this pursuit. We can give him another year. That's something no one else can do easily. To make Portland do it we'd have to give up a young guy (Randle since he's redundant) and probably absorb a nasty contract and a get a pick. Hey, maybe they can S&T Robin too. It's a stretch but possible

You only get the 5th year by staying. Sign and trades to other teams still count only to 4 years.

From the Los Angeles Daily News .....

Portland center LaMarcus Aldridge will meet with the Lakers on Thursday in Los Angeles, according to a league source familiar with the situation. The discussion will center on basketball, a league source said. Wasserman Media Group had dismissed various reports that said Aldridge had ruled the Lakers out, tweeting out on Wednesday that Aldridge “has not made any decisions yet. All reports to the contrary are false & he looks forward to sharing his plans soon.” But those outlets outlined in detail that Aldridge apparently was not impressed with the Lakers’ basketball presentation.

Don't trust all the info you read from all the hacks out there. I think the Lakers are definitely in it still.

Ramona Shelburne saying the Lakers are still waiting for DeAndre Jordan to decide before making any further moves like resigning Ed Davis or going for Aaron Afflalo.

    Ireland and Mason are pissed!

Even Ramona can't believe Lakers are doing exactly what they did last year with Carmelo. Says Lakers may resign JORDAN HILL if all else fails!

I don't want to see that team in the playoffs in the East. If CLE could play Wizards, Bulls, Heat in that order in the playoffs, that would be great.

What are you listening to? Davis and Afflalo are signed elsewhere.

Yeah. That's why I am not taking them too seriously right now. They are talking about guys who have already been signed by other teams.
