Of the minimum-level centers still available, maybe Yurtseven or Hayes? Landale would be nice but I think he gets more than the minimum.

not true, a team that had cap space could offer AR a 4 year 98 mil contract. The first 2 years would be 12.5 each, but the next two would be max amount for a 3 year player. “ poison pill contract. It would count as a 24 million a year contract in that teams cap though.

Just shows we’re doing great so far. Get a big, use the MLE? I am very curious about our next move now.

Wonder if Gabe’s contract is back loaded a bit so that instead of a flat $11M per year, it starts at a lower figure. Like $9.5M/$11M/$12.5M? Not sure if that’s possible or how the rules for raises between each year work.

If that was possible, maybe you still have close to $3M of the MLE to offer (so it would be a slight raise over veteran’s minimum, and you could offer more than 2 years).

Doubt it, but a man can hope

Really hope there is a plan to actually get someone decent and we don’t just end up bringing back Wenyen and Tristan as our only other big men

Mo Bamba will be brought back. I sure hope Rob has someone better that he’s trying to swing.

Not sure why we would even want Beas back considering our new additions. Who would he be taking minutes from?

Makes paying Reaves whatever it takes (100m contract) seems reasonable now

I'd target Jock Londale for the minimum to be backup C. He played well as Aytons backup.

Maybe Christie? I think he’s shown enoug promise to take the back up SG spot, but I could see the FO potentially wanting to slot in someone with more experience (maybe they even just want to keep Christie hidden so they can retain him next summer)

I could see the rotation looking like this, with Beasley slotting in front of Christie if we could keep him

    DLo / Vincent / JHS
    Reaves / (Vacant) / Christie
    Lebron / Prince / Reddish / Lewis
    Rui / Vanderbilt
    AD / (Vacant) / (Vacant)

I’m not sure how much we could realistically sign Beasley for though before we come up against the hard cap

I would much rather see Christie get those minutes. It’s time to play him. He has already shown he can play solid D and Beas can’t.
