    yeah, there are receipts here of me questioning their choices at the deadline this year with fvv and trent. feel like both kinda blew up on them in ways they didn't expect but one could see coming.

    Then you haven’t been here long enough.

    We’ve been keeping track and kept receipts of him calling trades done before it got out to any reporters. He only hears about big trades or signings and minor internal discussions. Not much about average players.

    Most recently he broke the Lakers were interested in Westbrook before any other media tweeted about it and called the trade done a full 3 hours before Woj and them tweeted it was done.

    If that was a guess, I want him to give me lotto numbers.

    Still don't concern me. Their rookies are automatically among their best defenders. Until they're serious about defense, they aren't going to contend for anything.

    yeah, i'm just not as high on seth as most. he can really shoot it, but he does nothing else and gives it all back on the other end. dallas already has guards, too.

    i do think that, defensively, they need to slide luka to the 4, so maybe that's part of what's happening. but going small AND slow in the backcourt around that doesn't help. guessing they see him sharing the floor with the rookies and luka with the second shift? that could work, in theory.

    They’ve gotta be exploring sign and trade scenarios.

    Either that, or DLo is upset at how the situation played out and is salty that the Lakers are now trying to lowball him since he has no leverage, and they’re exploring if there are any full MLE deals out there where he might have a bigger opportunity

    He has some knowledge of what's going down. He proved that back when LeBron signed. Always a grain of salt, but he legitimately isn't just guessing.
