I just wanted to say a big HELLO!!! to everyone here. I knew a lot of the names here from the Clublakers days and it's fortunate I stumbled upon this site. I think I was trying to get to CL one day and just googled something to see what happened. I haven't been to CL regularly (or any Lakers forums in general) the last couple of years due to big changes in my life with my daughter (who is now 3) taking up most of my time (and a Laker fan in training!) But... it's so glad to see familiar names and see a new home for us Lakers fans to talk "Lakers Ball" (and NBA in general). Cuz God knows such talk up here in Canada is hard to come by with all the hockey nuts surrounding me. Wooo!!! So good to see you guys again! Oh, this site looks slick! Love the features!

View them?" *Clicks button* *Suddenly forum loads 20 pages of discussion* *Am now behind on 15 transactions that just happened* *Sees that my previous response has no relevance to the topic anymore* *Erase everything that was just typed*
Ruh Roh. With LB's exponentially exploding membership of late ..... today is the first day I'm starting to see, and someone else remarked it happened for a longer period...... CL like delays in the cycling of posting. Couple times now. We need more RAM!!
Ruh Roh again..... with a silver lining. Wow just now could not get on for like 10 minutes. So I'm jonzing like crazy and go over to the huge data field that of course is Lakersground, which always seems to load, and am reading. I come across this signature one of the members has. Awesome: "Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen." Need my "bow down guy" smiley from CL here about 3 times for whoever wrote or reported that. And for Kobe looking out for the P&G. I may plagiarize it myself at some point if I have enough room. Gotta Fix Upshaw and Hibbert first though.
@LTLakerFan, I've submitted a ticket with my server company to see what's happening. We have more posters online than most forums, so they increased our max connections, but we're still checking to see what's happening. This WILL NOT be a continuous issue like on CL. I can guarantee you that.
Was hoping we got Anderson out of Cuban for Lin or something, like the bad old days that meant something good had happened. HA!
@LTLakerFan around what time couldn't you get on LB, and was there an error message? I'm trying to hunt down the problem.
Wow, am guessing now between 5:30 - 6PM, maybe a a little bit later. I see above I posted my message when I first noticed it load for me, at 6:33 after being on LG for a little while. Nah, no message, just the same thing with the address bar stalling out a little way in, like if you tried to get into CL right now.
Found out the site was down because of an attack against another site on the same server Lb is on. The host company said it only scrambled things for a minute and won't be an ongoing issue.
Excellent work @Barnstable Never expected an update on the reason for the brief slow period yesterday. Showing us all what a great admin is like. We're spoiled her at LB. Thank You
On Cl, part of the problem was that we had little to no information about what was going wrong any why, so we didn't know if things were going to be down for a minute or for days, and we never knew a concrete why. LB will never be like that.
