Looks like we’re not interested in Coulibaly which means he ain’t all that. Sad

Two Kobes in the draft, hopefully they won’t be drafted here for their sake lol

i think we should wait and see if oconnor's prediction happens (wallace, lively, etc.) and if not, see if indy would give all three of 26, 29, and 32 for the 17.

i'm pretty fascinated by this draft due to the absolute uncertainty. mocks are still all over the place one day out. teams with too many picks to use, teams that sort of need to make trades, etc.

Mike Garcia was on Locked On with the Kam bros and said he had 35-40 players with a first round grade. I imagine the teams have their boards as scattered as these mocks. I think it really puts our scouts at good position to pull some magic if you give them multiple bites at the apple.

    Pick is likely moving
Who we're linked to at 17

The trade down option while nabbing a lesser vet
    The trade up option
I'd move up for Lively but I think he's going to have to many bidders to move up a couple picks. Teams are looking at him around 10.

i like trading down while nabbing a lesser vet. hield plus 26 for beasley is something i'd do. obviously all depends on the targets. feel like one of howard, clowney, murray, smith (not my fav), or podziemski will be there at 26.

if the target isn't there at 17, go for it.

Some picks that could be on the move
And for whatever reason, we like Bufkin

I'd be happy with any of Bufkin, Lively, Howard, Smith Jr. and Clowney. I'd be happy if we trade the pick and picked up Hield, Trent or DFS. I'd be a little deflated but ultimately happy if they trade down and get some future draft compensation. Looking at tonight as a win-win.

Since we moved up in the 2nd, here's who slated in that 40-46 range

Walsh's D ability is very intriguing. I'd be shocked if Cissoko drops that low, but he'd be interesting in that range too

need to check out mike's board, been meaning to do that. if gg jackson fell all the way to 40, that's a great upside pick, imo. super raw, but has some tools and appropriate size.

With Hawkins still on the board (goes 20), that's a definite no. But I'd say that about 5 other guys over Smith Jr too.

    Screenshot_20230622_155202_Chrome.jpg

Not a fan of this one either.

Rayan Rupert was still on the board (41). That's a big slide.
    Julian Phillips, too (42)
