I absolutely 100000% doubt it. The Lakers aren't getting both of them to take less to be here and that's the only way this works. Still though Mitch seems to have something cooking. Koufos and Lopez still available. Davis sign and trade is definitely something that makes sense right now for Lopez.

Looks like LMA and his crew have trouble saying "No" to people like Dwight and his camp. I think they're just playing with us again just to be nice. They live in LA so not too much trouble to give the Lakers a 2nd chance.
Yep I think that's the play here. Sign and trade Young/Davis for Lopez. Pick up Aldridge. Dump other salaries as needed.

It's funny seeing the mood switch in here. I'm still very down on the FO, but this is a good thing. It may not work, but if Aldridge and Lopez are attached at the hip then it can't hurt to go get Lopez.
