Brice Sensabaugh must've been a late addition. He wasn't on the workout list.

Looks like Sensabaugh is a favorite for 17

who is the mullet guy wearing no. 5? @sirronstuff’s next favorite player, looking like a 70s serial killer

looks like he'll be able to score from day one in the nba, but man, i worry a lot about his defense. i wouldn't draft him, tbh. i think it's easier to make a guy who plays defense into an offensive threat than to turn a guy into a defender.

players who are projected to be available at 17 that the Lakers have talked to or worked out are Senabaugh,Leonard Miller,Wallace and Lewis.Of those four I would lean towards the PG then Miller.

This is reassuring, since we've heard so little about 1st rounders in the building

Sure … if other teams are smart they would look more closely at who we look at. Don’t broadcast it.

Chicago fired their draft scouts and literally just leeches off of us now. Saves millions per year with better results.

    but it’s still sloppy seconds…

Nice to have our own legit scout team. Truly a department to be proud of.

This seems like our kind of pick.

I'd take the best big available with the FRP, and then look for a perimeter guy in the 2nd rd.

wow, those are harsh assessments I'd rather not read about if I was one of those players lol.

the draft is such a crapshoot, but our draft team has done such an amazing job. Between them and Rob, they are doing so great I don't even invest time in dreaming up scenarios of players I never watch.
After we missed out on the sure thing Dragan Bender, I gave up trying to guess the drafting game. i'll be happy to trust the professionals.

i wouldn't. i'm not even that high on lively, and he's supposedly going before we pick. after that, who's worthy of a 1st? who's the next big on the board? james nnaji? clowney? it's a really shallow draft for bigs. like always, there will be some guy taken in the second round that people regret passing over, but i'm not seeing the obvious candidate, and i'm not seeing the guy worth using 17 on when there are guards and wings (and we actually could use both a pg and another bigger wing) and trade down possibilities.

i like that kobe brown guy you posted about a while ago, and he's projected near our 2nd rounder.

i feel like i've been right a lot more often than wrong in my draft opinions. but some of my wrong ones have been doozies.

generally speaking, the guys i've pegged as favs ahead of the draft have been good, though.

yeah, when he played well at the combine scrimmage, i think he got himself into the first round. lots of teams can use his archetype. he's probably a reach at 17, but a good trade down target.

    17. Lakers: Kobe Bufkin, 6-5, PG, Michigan

If we take Bufkin and half the players are still on the board that Dan has going in the rest of the first round, I'm not a fan. I like him more than Jalen Hood-Schifino, but don't think that's the direction we need to be looking.
