This is fantastic. It tells me we want to build the young core and we’re not going to overreact after a loss in the WCF. The Lakers are 3rd or 4th best team in the NBA right now, with very limited practice time and severely hobbled Bron. This is a good position to be in. The more I think about it now, the better I feel about it. Go for depth, keep finding gems in the draft, develop young players. Superstar leaders will come, trust me.
Dennis knows what’s going on, and he is interested in staying. Hope we can keep him, you know what you’re getting from him off the bench. Plays hard, scores well, defends the perimeter.
wonder if beasley's willing to take less money on a two-year deal to stay. i'd consider it. he can't be that bad again, imo.
yeah, never been as happy about a season ending in a sweep. i'd just seen so much terrible basketball (especially defensively) for so long...this was great. denver hit tough shots. don't let that make you think this team wasn't capable of winning it all.
I feel it was needed for this team it was A BIG WAKE UP either YOU IN OR YOU OUT no half ways here nothing gets you going more and wakes you up then getting swept at home
Really close games even though we got swept, Nuggets played their best basketball against us and we were a few points away from sweeping them. Run it back next year with a decent center and let AD feast on defense and AR a few points better and maybe a PG change, we could sweep the Nuggets next year.
It's great to hear from all our guys in these exit interviews. Honestly I'd like to keep them all if possible. I really, really like the team we have. I'm disappointed in Dlo but I still feel that we need to sign him and run it back. I also feel like Beasley could still be that long range shooter we need and that even Bamba could contribute. I'd love to keep the cheaper contract guys like Brown and Gabriel and TT. I want Schroder to stay too. Jeannie, open up that checkbook!
