No, there's no logic in getting Russ. Don't know why Lebron pushed for that.

We can no longer depend on Lebron as a consistent 30pts scorer. He's good for 20pts a game. I think he threw up those 3pts hoping he will get 30 pts.

We need Kyrie. Go big or home. And a center.

Isn't he worth 1+ billions, what is more important, the 5th ring or 100 more millions.

Can only fault LeBron for the bad threes throughout these playoffs. Maybe if his co star would have scored more, he wouldn’t have felt the need to Jack up so many bad threes?

We’re going to miss him when he’s gone, having that rock there steadying the franchise, the constant on your team always giving you a shot to win every game. Appreciate it now while he’s here. 38 years old, year 20, putting up 31 points in a half on 11-13 shooting, just ridiculous and unprecedented. But yeah, get some more help somehow in key areas, or move on next year

He just said that to get the media in a frenzy lol

The old man went out on his shield. Anybody that's up for a contract extension, and didn't follow his lead, is outta here.

Agreed lol, I don’t think he’s seriously considering retirement. As much as I’ve become a fan of his, even I have to admit he’s a big attention *****.

Maybe he’s trying to put a little pressure on the FO, but moreso I think he’s just trying to steer the discourse away from “Lebron got swept” to “He may only have a few years left, we should appreciate him while he’s still playing”

    Well, maybe I'm wrong

If he does retire, his salary comes off the cap right? I still think he's messing with the media.

Lakers need a preserver. Someone who can allow Lebron to play no more than 30 minutes a game the rest of his career.

He's dead serious about getting his way IMO. He only has two years left, and he's going to probably have surgery on that foot.

Personally, I think he's a bit sour, that we didn't make the play for Kyrie, and instead we got D'Angelo and Malik.

Eh, he’s just tired and has the injured foot. I think he plays next season, but I also wouldn’t be shocked if he asks for a trade elsewhere as well. Also this

That's Jeannie's super hero, he's going to get whatever he wants. The summer is going to be lit.

he's not retiring before playing with bronny

demanding a trade elsewhere? where could he realistically go that would offer him a better chance at a ring? i don't think he's going anywhere

Okay yeah Haynes is close with Klutch…

I thought Lebron would leave it at that cryptic comment, but he’s choosing to give this retirement idea a lot more life than I had anticipated

Thinking on it now, one thing that caught my attention recently is after Bronny committed to USC, Lebron was asked about it and mentioned something along the lines of although he would still love to play with Bronny, that’s HIS dream and not necessarily his son’s dream.

Wonder if Bronny had a heart to heart with his dad about how he DOESN’T want to play with Lebron, and now Lebron feels he doesn’t have much else left to keep playing for.

Still think it’s an attention grabbing strategy to control the narrative around him and pressure the FO, and he’s 100% ready to go and bought in come training camp
