DLo is useful if he has it going offensively, he can match Murray’s production. However if he doesn’t, we need someone to slow down Murray. Vando could be a good option in specific minutes with Reaves handling the rest.
As I've said before, I love Rui. The guy has such incredible potential. He almost had a perfect game out there if there is such a thing in basketball.
It seems hard at this point to overstate what a great pickup Rui was, oh-so-many months ago. My gawd, what a solid all-around player. He's a joy to watch. Love this kid.
IMO we should treat AR and Rui as the franchise building blocks. Go into next year looking to maximize their development. Both of them should start and play 35+ MPG, with the offense focused on getting them looks. As great as Rui has been, I really don’t think he’s even scratched the surface of his potential yet. Very excited to see how he continues to grow
Keep him please. Play him 40 minutes a night. He's absolutely ready for a bigger role and we need to give it to him
The Nuggets targeted him in the 3rd with Jokic, and took control of the game. He's a bit limited on defense, but the offensive potential ceiling is high. He should most definitely be a no brainer, to match any offers like Austin tho IMO
I actually think Rui had a pretty poor game 3. He was a bit too out of control offensively and didn’t do as well on Jokic as before. In saying that everyone but Reaves, AD and Schroeder had a poor game.
I think he had a rough start and compared to recent play it wasn't a very good game, but in the 4th I felt as though he was getting it together.
With Lebron and AD getting almost a 100 million between them, they will still be the focus of our offensive attack. Rui and Austin will eat aplenty off of those two as is.
i think we're near 100% keeping rui and reaves. i'll be shocked if either is playing elsewhere next year.
