He didn’t have to settle. He chose to settle. It’s weird to me because when he was younger he would’ve drove and kicked it or got a layup/dunk. Now it seems like he thinks he has to be the hero.

For all the great stuff he's done in his old age to get us to the WCF he's also consistently shot us out of comebacks/leads. He's so good at penetrating and getting to the rim and or getting fouled in the process.. it was a no brainer to go to the rim.. or penetrate and kick out to Scrotor or Reaves for the 3 if wide open.

It would be nice if Ham or AD can tell him ease up on the off the dribble threes but they're shook of him.

Oh well, I still feel we'll win this series but it would have been nice to have that comeback.

Well tha game did change when he started attacking Murray. Lakers found something there

The 3 was frustrating but the Lakers were down 3. The missed FTs and the missed pullup drive were just if not bigger. That pullup looked like it was rolling in sigh.

Biggest concern for me frankly is these close games may wear him out for Thursday. Hopefully the rest will help

Of course he’s part of why we’re here but he’s also part of why we lost this game. I wouldn’t say he was the biggest part, that was the garbage first half rebounds and to a lesser extent defense. Missing FTs and bad decisions down the stretch definitely ended what could’ve been a series defining comeback. It’s also not isolated which is my main issue with it, he did this in the previous two series as well with iso 3s usually early in the clock at that. I just expect better decision making from him to be honest, he’s still great at literally everything else but the 3 ball ain’t it.

I can’t hate on the 3. He hits it and we break them. He misses and we just can’t get over the hump. Fair play to Lebron.

no one who's shooting 12% from 3 or whatever it is should be shooting a single 3, let alone one at the very end of a close game

Yeah it’s a good point, but when we’re talking about the goat players, I give them the leeway.

If he hits it we win, let’s hope we’re not in that situation next game.

Pretty good game until that 3 attempt. For a stretch there it felt like he was the only one that could get a bucket.

I have no issue with LeBron jacking up a couple of threes early in the game to see if he has that shot that night. Sometimes he gets hot and can make 4-5 in a game. If it's one of those games, then, sure take it with the game on the line. But when he is missing his three ball on the night, it is just bad decision making from a player that considers himself to be the smartest to ever play. Then you add that AR had just made 2 of his last three. He could have set up either AR or Rui. It was frustrating to watch.

I have zero issue with LeBron taking the 3 at the end of the game but I can completely understand why others do.

He went for the throat and missed. It happens. If he nuts that and we pull the comeback off, I legit think we sweep the Nuggets. It would have broken them, especially because of LeBron struggling from deep. It would be exactly what he did to Toronto for a decade where they leave the floor thinking "Jesus Christ, this guy is shooting 20% from 3 in the playoffs and just hit THAT shot to win THAT game".

I still think us winning in 5 is possible.

Unfortunately, that Lebron was in his prime. This Lebron needs to be more efficient. The old Lebron can jack up 3s but then he come back and slam it in their face.

    I agree with this.

My issue with that shot is that it was an all or bust shot. What I mean is there was no flow to the offense on that play. No one was set well or moving. When he just shoots it there is zero chance of us crashing the boards and the defense didn't have to much of anything to worry about. We had put them on their heels and was attacking them but that shot was ill-advised and for me ended our run. Austin had rushed his third shot which he missed but Bron should of attacked the defender on the drive and kicked it out to one of the wing guys. If they missed from the "action" then ok. I wasn't happy with that shot.
