I was just about to say that I really like what AR was doing out there on defense. No one, and I mean no one, is going to stop Steph or Klay from getting off a shot. Steph has one of, if not the, quickest releases ive ever seen. AR was prob our best guy fighting around screens, contesting without fouling and disrupting the flow of the offense.

That being said, he does need to make sure he is attacking the paint on offense. He puts pressure on the refs to have to make a call. Even if he doesn't get it he still is forcing GS to worry about him. One thing I did love was he was ready to shoot the 3 when the ball came to him off the drive and dish.

All in all I thought he played a really good game in game 1.

we'll offer the max we can, with his stipulations on option years. his agent will then seek the bigger deal, which we'll match. we are good here.

he's made strides over time for sure.

everyone will want; no one will pony up the offer that gets us to balk, imo.

pioneer is one of the best, for sure.

Snoop just said he's a huge AR fan and really wants to meet him. Cool... but wait till after the season. Austin might have trouble walking, let alone playing after "chatting" with Snoop.
Edit: he also got on B&B a**. Good, good...

    Crazy but legitimate thought…

Is Austin Reaves the best white guard to play for the Lakers since Jerry West?

I can’t think of anyone better.

He's not right and I hope he gets it right by Saturday. The shot was short all night. D wasn't going enough... again. Leg sleeve has me concerned about an injury.

    He was awful.

Is it all chasing getting him tired? He looked like he had dead legs as bad as AD did tonight. No lift on his jumper and passing was off: not the typical crisp decisive actions we've gotten used to.

He might be fatigued. Hopefully he bounces back on Saturday.

Yes, he needs to do some meditation and get back at it. We have a championship to win. Much of the time these type of games are mental fatigue. The body will go where the mind will take you.

Don't be surprised if Ham starts Schroder on Curry and Vando on Klay and Reaves off the bench if things continue like that in game 3. I expect Klay will cool off on the road though

Vando is rough on offense: rather just go 3 guards at that point

Yeah, Reaves is the only guy Klay has torched throughout his exceptional career.
We are talking about one of the all time great shooters.

AR is definitely not "HIM". "HIM" are born in the playoffs. Unfortunately Klay has too much confidence over AR now. Time for a change.

if we're going to get outrebounded badly, might as well play small.

i'm still inclined to believe a lot of game 2 was just that their otherworldly shooting makes the rest of the game really easy.

Klay is really good at basketball and is just a tough guy for anyone to guard. Not down on Reaves. He needs to play his game and not get discouraged.

reaves is new to this stuff; klay's one of the most seasoned playoff performers in nba history.

just flush that game and move on.
