Bully ball in the post, passing, mid range, and FTs all look solid. Defense and rebound look really good

The 3 and burst at least on LeIso isn't there. As long as DLo and Reaves can cook it's fine as I think the evolution for him is going to be more of a supercharger Draymond off the ball role mixed with Bully ball

First time Lebron’s team wins a Game 1 against the Warriors.

What he can't do anymore is create from the top. And as others have pointed out, he can't play whole quarters anymore at 38

Happened to Kobe before!! Happened to Kareem before!! Just sayin'! It happens to everyone, the key is to continue to do the other things when your shot ain't falling.

I keep seeing his injury being the reason he’s shooting poorly from 3. It’s not. He shot 30% for the year and he wasn’t injured then.

Will we see 45pts Lebron anymore? I hope he his hiding his hands until we need that. If he can score mid 20s and we win. Ill take that over 45pts. But one of these games we need one.

He will has his ups and downs. But he's a very smart player, he'll figure it out. He can always drive to facilitate more when he's tired, or focus on defense. He is playing much better defense in the playoffs, that's a fact.

this. it's to the point where i don't understand why we do it. i feel like we're going to get a better shot with reaves or russell handling out top and setting things up, even in crunch time.

i also agree that his post game is actually quite strong, and it's a shame we don't use it a bit more. my guess is that's his call, though.

my only issue with his postseason play so far is the continued insistence on taking off-the-dribble threes or long jumpers. he's got to be shooting like, 11% on these. we have enough offensive talent now that these are among the worst shots the team can put up.

his effort on d is so much better than the regular season, though. he was harden-esque for long stretches this year and has been engaged on d in the playoffs.

I think he doesn't want to go to the FT line too much down the strech and/or he knows he won't get mant calls , this is why he's chucking many 3s

He did this in his others seasons as a Laker too so I don't think it's only mileage and injury

Loved Brons game 1 with the exception of 1 play. Running the clock down and chucking a 3 with no movement at all. I really liked in the Memp series they let Austin, DLO or Dennis to initiate the offense at those times. He needed to put pressure on them even if he went in and took the midrange shot. The 3 in that moment was a dagger attempt for the sake of throwing a dagger.

Not a fan of those decisions.

If LeBron were shooting his regular 3 pt %, he'd be averaging 30 PPG in the playoffs. How the f*** does your shot disappear for an entire season, then get worse as playoff teams leave you more open?

Green is correct but it also shouldn't be that surprising as that what the Lakers did in Game 6.
The foot injury clearly has taken away Bron's ability to play LeIso PnR up top like he classically did. Hopefully this will open things for Reaves/Dlo/shroeder as they try to take away Lebron off ball

    LeBron’s FG% By Distance:

    0-3 ft= 75%
    3-10ft= 50%
    10-16ft= 60%
    16-24ft= 54%

    24+ft = 18%

    Everything but the 3-ball..

IF he gets hot. The percentages prove otherwise.

Maybe I just forgot because it rarely happens. I guess it’s because of the foot injury.

Lebron isn't a great shooter but he does have some touch. His problem is a lot of his deep jumpers come from a weird set up that doesn't lead to balance and he often falls/leans back on most of his shots but definitely the 3. I have more faith if he is shooting it off a pass than when he tries to dribble-dribble-side step-shoot. Players like Steph and Klay can do that because they have great balance on their body in the shot. Bron simply doesn't which is why, imo, his % goes down drastically the farther he is away from the hoop.
