I know every team try to double team Curry and that doesnt seem to work. Why not try single coverage and dont let the other guys go off. Let see if Curry can score 60pts or 70pts and win.

Yeah that sounds good. Agree in keep giving him different looks so he doesn't get comfortable
Uff. I'm not sure I agree. Usually I agree with that strategy but don't think I do in this case. Especially when they have Green, Looney and Payton. Steph is the greatest shooter of the history, not the guy I want to make beat us alone because he can.
    Agree with that

Yeah, I can get behind that too. Keep our young guys fresh by consistently rotating on him. Steph is an all-time great, but he isn't young. Let's see if he can deal with our depth and defense. If he can, I'll give him props, I don't have a problem with that.

Lakers will use a high drop coverage ( AD on the level of the screen) on Curry by Cranjis , this is what "we" did in the regular season .

I agree with Cranjis , Warriors playing 4 on 3 , or 3 on 2 are great , trapping Curry isn't the way to go .

I believe the best defense against these small scoring guards, is to punish them on the defensive end. These guys with great handles and deep range, are just a tough cover. You have to make them work on defense, target them in P&R with bigger players (Lebron is great at this), lay some wood on them if they come into the paint, It's a sound idea to rotate fresh bodies on him, and give him different looks on defense. It's just as important to make him work on D too IMO. Whoever he's guarding, should be sprinting down the floor frequently on our offensive possessions. They should be looking to attack him whenever they have the ball, make him fight through some screens. My goal would be to make him work just as hard on D, as he does on offense. When guys get tired, the shots start coming up short and they are more prone to making mental errors, turnovers, losing their man in rotations etc.

Instead of different looks on defense against Curry, attack him with different guys in offense. All our offensive guys can take him 1-on-1. Make him rattled in defense and hope that it carries in his shooting.

GREAT game from Vando. If AD wasn't superhuman, I'd give the game ball to him

I miss having players like Vando, Looney thought his mediocre shot could sneak in there. NOPE! Swatted to oblivion

The moment he left the game, GSW went on their 14-0 run.

Speaks volumes to Vando and his presence.

We all know and agree his defense is absolutely elite. He was everywhere today, blocks, confidence, active hands, simply never quits. I love you Vando!!

If he can work on his corner 3 and FTs this summer, he’ll be even better.

Boy I was wrong thinking he couldn't stick with Curry on screens .

Locked him up better than Akon

    Rob did amazingly well.

    AR DAR Dennis
    Bron
    AD Vando Rui

is a hell of a nucleus IF Bron is healthy, which at this point is ... probably never.

He did so much better on Steph than I could have ever imagined, great overall game!

But man, I can’t help but get frequently frustrated by his offensive limitations. And not even necessarily frustrated at him, maybe it’s frustration at his teammates. You need to know the limitations of your teammates. There is NO reason to try to force it to Vando on contested cuts in traffic or fast break opportunities. His role on offense should be limited to corner 3’s or wide open dunks when the defense break down.

You're being unreasonable... if Vando did this every night against Curry I would deem it a huge success. There is no one on this team with his motor, he's the only guy who will actually give Steph problems. I'd go as far as saying our victories pivot on Vando putting together a night like this again.

This guy was incredible tonight. Just running with Steph is a feat in itself, very few actually defend him successfully in the playoffs. Bravo Vando.

Helljumper isn't wrong but you are right too. He is horrible on offense in the lane, he doesn't have the handles for it. That being said, if he is causing that much havoc on defense, you gotta keep him in the game and the other guys have to realize how best to utilize him.
