He did his part..we won..that's more important than Rui getting " numbers".

Ham going between Rui and Vanderbilt was interesting. Rui has slowly become a competent defender. There were a couple of sequences last night when Rui was able to bump JJJ off course, making things harder in general for him on offense. It's distinctly different from what Vanderbilt can do on defense, and it changes the look and feel of our team.

I don't want to rely solely on either Rui or Vanderbilt, especially offensively. Successfully shifting them will be a crucial for this team

having both rui and vando to deploy in different situations is vital. two big forwards with very different skill sets, each of whom can fit in with our top 4 players (among other combinations).

It's so great to have Rui on our team. I can see him starting for us next year or continuing that Bob McAdoo role of scorer off the bench that he has now. He's such a talent. Great size, strength, rebounding and versatile scoring skill. The revelation has been his D lately: more than adequate - really good at times.

The more I see, the more proof there is. We were fouled so many times without a single call. Personally, I think we should have won this game in regulation by 15 points. The refs scrood us and I hope someone in the organization has the nuts to stand up to the league and state their proof!!

i think the league's counter is that jjj is going to eat it regardless, and they may be right. but man, if the jerseys were switched, this would be making the rounds.

That’s where corruption starts and fair play ends.

The problem is, they don't actually know that. Sure it is probable but you never know if he could have avoided him a little or powered through. I know that ain't likely but you can't call a game on plays because of what's likely. Think about that face of that?? Ref: Ehhhhh, he was gonna foul out anyhow, we'll just call it and get it over with!

Refs rarely call fouls at the rim in the last 5 minutes in the playoffs.

It was the same for both teams so I'm fine with it.

Rui should have used a fake and went from there according to JJJ reaction to it

True, but when there are blatant non-calls, it sucks.

His scoring may have dipped but he's still putting effort in other areas. Coachable and needs to be retained.

Hotch should show Reaves that he was fouled on that dunk attempt... :)
