We have been waiting all season for Ham to figure out the starting line up when it was staring him in the face all along and especially since the trade. He finally puts in the right starters and people want him to back track on the best move he has made all season and put the line up back in that might play well once in awhile. I hear twilight zone music...lol. Shrink it to a nine man rotation, keep a couple playmakers on the court together, problem solved. Ham is ever so slowly figuring this out.
HA!! I just followed Austin on Twitter and under a reply he made to a Lakers Daily tweet in January that said the Lakers were looking to retain him ..... and he said, "F*** they better, I just closed a place in LA" ..... I replied to him to check out his new "Too Small" T-Shirt with GoldenKnight's link to it.
nonsense. the press tells me that we won't be able to afford him due to our "difficult" arenas situation.
Also interesting (to me) is that he seems to embrace “Hillbilly Kobe” as that leads on his Twitter handle with AKA Austin Reaves following it.
hbk is a good nickname because a) he didn't give it to himself (it came organically), b) it has laker ties, c) it speaks to his unique background for an nba player, and d) it's not a weapon best known for killing children. i'd roll with that one.
Did you search and look and still have the opinion? How do we even know any more in what the place has become?
I don’t know man, I only trust what the official team and nba twitter accounts and they do not tag his official twitter account. Anyway he has shown signs as a Sooner.
15 & 6, but the eye test and the +/- don't line up. Thought it was a rough game for him, some bad reads defensively BUT he had the 3rd best +/- for us. It looked like every time he was on Conley, it was a basket or more.
I felt he was solid as usual. He has spoiled people with his play. 15, 6 and 2 on good efficiency. He had that foul on Conley for a 4 point play but you just can't complain about Austin.
Conley is still capable of having some good games. We are spoiled with Austin's insane efficiency. When he is just a little off it stands out.
Yeah, I didn't love Reaves' game tonight. Some uncharacteristic poor play at times. Personally, I just don't like him as a starter. He looked more comfortable playing alongside Schroder and the bench mob.
