He's gonna price himself out of our range if he keeps it up... tone it down kid Losing Caruso hurt but if someone "poison pills" us and we don't match, i'll break down.
Lakers haters crying about Reaves going to the line : You love to read it ! LMAO at complaining about FTs as a Warriors fan when you get away with a ton of illegal screens
Herr Reaves!! https://lakersdaily.com/germany-recruiting-austin-reaves-to-play-for-them-in-the-world-cup/
Agreed. I can't imagine we won't match any offer out there. Whatever we end up paying will be a bargain in the end. Fan favorite, team MVP if he had been starting all season like he should have, maybe still. I think the reaction to AC not being paid will make it harder for them to mess up with Austin. He will be an all-star in a season or two more. He really pairs well with Dlo so the future looks good. Plus I think AD actually likes him instead of having to pretend. With us you never know though...lol.
i'm a little worried that utah, indy, or even orlando will try to throw a huge offer his way, but i still think we match it. again, the balloon payment will come when lebron's contract is up (and he may be gone or retired) and possibly AD's too. no skin off our back, imo.
I am glad we are actually starting to use him correctly. I read somewhere that one of the reasons he transferred schools was being stuck in the corner waiting for the ball to come to him and not being involved in the offense. Kid loves to play ball. Money will matter but he is a competitor and wants to be in the middle of the action not a spectator.
Germany will win the World Cup, if he plays I feel his game is more suited for international play. If they call his foul baiting in the NBA, it will double under FIBA rules.
We've officially reached a level of AR pandemonium where Jay Williams is suggesting we shouldn't bring Bron back this season in favor of letting AR cook.
The Reaves DLo backcourt is wonderful. It's a bit of a surprise to me, but it quickly makes sense why they play well together. Different players but they have some key similarities, like high basketball IQ. The way they cut and pass for each other has real potential. Can't wait for LeBron to run point with these guys on the wings, it's going to be a really good passing team. edit: just watched he J-Will clip... lol. Neither DLo or Reaves are full-time PGs. They will not only do just fine when LeBron has the ball, they will probably do a hell of a lot better.
This guy is going to add all the years back to my life that Westbrook took away. My only criticism at this point is the "AR-15" nickname. It's a personal/subjective view, I know, and everyone need not agree, but I don't think we should be celebrating guns--much less weapons of war--in pro sports. Really no place for that, and I wish we weren't leaning into it. I thought the "AK-47" nickname for Kirilenko was equally lame.
