Yes we screwed up multiple times over this season. We deserve whatever is coming. Even when healthy, those first 10 games of the season were a killer.

Bad losses happen but I feel the latest Mavs game , the C-bags at home and Pacers should all have been wins without a doubt

We’d be 4th in the west right now if we just went 500. At the start of the season

PG will be looked at in 2-3 weeks.

Can Kawhi hold up without the help?

that otherworldly team-wide shooting slump was just such a sour note to start out on this year. ick. sucked all the joy from day one. early schedule was rough, to boot.

the games i'm really mad about were the ones the refs really screwed us on. there were 3 or 4 of them that were decided by objectively bad calls or no-calls. the last second shots and stuff just happen and they can even out (like matt ryan hitting one for us to win us a game we shouldn't have had).

but even if we just have two fewer ref screwjobs, we're in what, 6th? 1/2 game behind 5th. we'd have a cushion in these last ten games instead of needing others to fall off their pace.

i didn't think his injury looked as bad as people were saying (it looked a lot like giannis's from the playoffs, iirc). i'm sure it hurts, but he'll be fine going forward. problem is that the clippers could find themselves playing a full strength phx in round 1 with pg trying to get back from injury. of course, the clippers have literally zero honor, so i'm guessing they'll tank out of that matchup if possible.

The Clippers could actually fall down in the standings without PG but then again, they should ahve enough depth to cover for him with Mann/Covington and probably Bones Hyland jumping back into the rotation.

Still think they were way better off without Russ....but he's been OK for them - and he's taking more accountability there than he EVER did here which actually annoys me.

We had our window where we were playing well and other play-in contenders were slumping/injured and losing games. Those Houston and Dallas losses were enormous. Now everyone else is playing better and the Jazz and Thunder in particular are sensing the opportunity. It’s going to be really tough.

We still have a shot we just need to literally win all of our games...it's well within our grasp. Do not lose the games against Thunder, Wolves and Jazz (2x)...and steal 2 of 3 against the Suns (2x) and Clippers to make up for those horrendous HOU/DAL losses.

I think going 7-3 or 8-2 is very possible but we have to win a few games that were "scheduled losses".

Also - wouldn't hurt if LeBron actually returned for the last 5 games or so.

well, yes and no. the tightness of the standings means that basically any outcome tonight really doesn't seal anyone's fate. until we're a couple games out with a couple games to play, it's not over. but my already incredibly shaky confidence will drop near zero with any loss in the upcoming home games.

our competitors are putting their feet on the gas right now.

The Jazz are losing too. Might be a good night for us actually. We'll see, but ultimately we have to win as much as possible.
