This says it all for the Mavs.

Bam secured the W by getting the stop against the Jazz.

I don't understand how the Hawks can get blown out in their own building when Trae gives them 41. Snyder has his work cut out for him.

ATL tried 22 3s. Hit 4. Which will not git it dun. T-Wolves starters just battered ATL, overall.

in addition to luka being out, the mavs didn't play irving or wood. it's like they're tanking. we'll take it, i guess!

GSW is such a funny team. Sometimes they just get so hot playing at home. Today, Klay managed to hit 4 threes in the first 7 minutes of the game.

    2 of 4. Not bad.

Currently .5 behind Dallas. Feel free to keep sitting the guards.

1.5 behind Minny. They've got a really tough road ahead (I broke it out over the weekend), we should be able to make up that ground.

2.5 behind GS and Clipps... we'll see.

    Tonight's lineup:

We take on the Pelicans. MUST WIN. BI is questionable. Even though Vando is great against him, ideally BI sits. He likes to take it to us every chance he gets.

Nets vs Thunder: should be a close one. Bridges vs SGA.

Knicks vs. Blazers: all depending on who plays. Brunson and Dame are both game time decisions.

Another must win game for us. I feel like we all said that, like 2 or 3 times already but this is really it. Loss = go home.

We got a nice lucky break yesterday with Jazz and Mavs both losing - vaulted us right back up to the 9th seed after we fell to 11th with the costly home loss to NYK.

We absolutely need to WIN today's game for that tiebreaker...and then we also need to make sure we dn't blow it against Houston the next day (whom JUST beat the C Bags).

We then have the MAVS at home after that...these next 3 games are so so so crucial. Gotta beat a team that is right behind us and a team right in front of us.

Next 5 are @Pelicans, @ Rockets, vs. Mavericks (likely no Luka), vs. Magic and vs. Suns (no KD). This has to be the stretch where we get over .500, and I think we'll go 4-1 to do just that. I also think by the end of this stretch we'll start to hear more about a LeBron return.

Wow the Knicks were down big in their game against the Blazers and now they find themselves up 14 with under 6 mins int he game....

Hoping the Bucks can pull it off against the Suns too...they're getting eerily close to sliding out of that 4th spot if they lose tonight...(Warriors/Clips both would be 1 game back in the loss column)

Knicks pulled a rabbit with that 42 point 3rd Q, that carried them through.

Bucks are the first to 50 wins after they separated themselves in the 4th.

I'm focused on the 4 above us, too many variables favoring the Suns and GS for me to look higher than that.
Mavs- they can't defend anyone and both guards are out
OKC- found themselves here by accident, how soon before they duck into the bushes?
Minny-brutal schedule and Gobert is a joke
Clipps- injuries and Russ, what's going to torpedoe them first?

I can't even take the GS struggles that seriously because of their resume. They're historically bad on the road, but I think they'll figure it out enough to stay afloat until post-season.

2/3, that works. Our game was do or die, other two were toppings.

13 games remaining. hahahaaha, we're in 10th place with legitimate hope of making some noise in the playoffs. That's pretty crazy.

I posted the schedule breakdown for the rest of their month on p13, here's what's left this month for them: SA, Lakers, Grizz, GS, CHA, CHA, Indy, 6ers.

They faced the Grizz like 7 times in the past week and with SA, Grizz again, CHA 2X, and Indy... those are all winnable games if they're healthy. If not, it's going to get ugly. They're 3 & 7 in their last 10.

No clue why Kyrie is sitting unless he doesn't think he can beat teams by himself.

i think the jockeying for the 6 seed is going to get kinda funny coming down the stretch. you'll have gs and the clips trying to strategically drop into that spot while minny and our clump tries to climb into it.

you don't want the 4/5 matchup with phx and kd coming into the lineup. you want mem or sac as the home team (pressure on young teams) in that first round, followed by the same in the second round. weird how the season turned out. sucks that we probably won't have a shot at that 7 spot.

if the Suns fall apart down the stretch, someone may catch them. Didn't see that coming.
