Yeah the refs took over the game, that ref is GARBAGE, he’s clearly a C Bags fan, and it’s wild that the league is cool with it.
The loss to the Knicks: one of those games where a guy misses a shot and it caroms wide, lands amid 3 Lakers, but it takes a bounce and one guy on the opposing team gets hold of the ball and they score on a 2nd chance. That kinda game. The kinda game where, you've got a team on a BTB and they were pretty bad in a loss the day before, then 3-4 guys play a great game. RJ Barrett was their Scottie Barnes today. Quickley and Julius (esp in first half) were gold for them. It didn't help me to hear two Knicks fans calling the game, either. I still think we're scary. We'll be there.
And I'm just the kind of fan who allowed himself to feel "sure" we'd get to .500 by beating the Knicks. Damn! This game was maddening.
Tough loss. Really wanted to see us get to .500. I still think it will happen but last night was a good opportunity for us to get over that particular hump.
3-0 was too much to ask from mem/tor/ny, even with the injury breaks we caught on the front and back end, i guess. was justified in worrying about that one.
I had this marked as a loss. That said, overall effort was flat outside of DLO and then AD on D. Hoped for better especially when we knew Brunson was out. Need better against NO on TUE
Still feels like a bad loss Yeah no Lebron but they didn't have Brunson. They were on the back end of a B2B. The missed FTs. Ham going back to doing adjust for adjustments sake rather than tailoring to the team. Most of roleplerys having bad game and AD being mediocre in the same. Reaves, Rui less then 30 minutes. All in a game that came down to one possession.
i'm willing to just move past this one if we can use it as fuel to maybe get a streak going. i've been worried about this next pels game since the last one we barfed up. they're tied with us. we have to go over there and take care of business. we've had a bunch of losses this year that i expected but was sad because they happened in such unfortunate ways, though.
Could not see the game and had to rely on Game Day here. Couldn’t figure out WTF was going on with according to the NBA games & scores/box scores there was like over 5 minutes left and we were down 8-10 points and the chat was already like, “what a terrible loss” and those type comments. I didn’t think that site had “that” much of a delay and it turned out it didn’t. Yeah the game almost came down to one possession or it did come down to it.
yeah, i had other stuff going on but was box score watching. looked like we were in it and just kept stalling when we caught up. need to watch if i can get a chance, but based on his comments and the box score, AD needed to do more in this one. hopefully, he shows up big in the next one.
Man this team looks and feels really good - but the missing piece seems to be another 2 way guy. Flip out KCP for Beasley and I think the Lakers would be a championship contender maybe even favorite but right now only Troy is the roleplayer outside of Rui/Vando/Beasley "wing group" who tends to have to move good games then bad and when he's bad, he's bad. I don't include REaves anymore, he's a core player and expectations for him should be higher
The game was pretty much over with about 4 or so minutes left as the team couldn't get anything going offensively and we were down by ten. There was a brief comeback at around a minute and a half but it was too little too late.
Ham going zone and the Knicks getting 3 straight 3's was rough - went from an even game to that 10 pt lead. Self-inflicted wounds
