ironically, i'm one of reaves's biggest fans! i'd hate to see him misused and diminish his value by playing him out of position. as a starter, he has to be a 2. as a backup, he can play 2 or 3, some pg against very specific matchups (i think memphis the other night was an example of one that can work).
Nah nah nah ... once he was on the squad full time, no 2 way BS, thanks to LeBron calling it from his Vegas mini camp, after following him since grade school ...... check my receipts. I haven't actually but am confident I was riding his jock the most very early on.
i went back to page 1, and you were among the first with a highlight montage! i also discovered that i was the first with the joe ingles comp (at least in this thread)
Lakers are going to have to back up the Brinks truck to re-sign him at this rate. Looks like him and DS got pissed of people reminding them they got bullied against Minnesota and looked to attack Toronto
Ron just called AR a “7-8” guy. Come on man, he’s getting better every month and already is our best player off the bench. He could start on most of the good squads in the NBA.
Wonder if he was thinking about anyone in particular who made wild plays and didn't play under control. Maybe a former teammate. Maybe this guy
At the moment, AR has to be considered the Most Underrated Player in the NBA. I wonder how long that will last. We get the same dude every game; the fans will have to wake up and see how awesome his overall game is. And yea, we need to pay him.
He put Gary Trent Jr on skates and Jr about broke at least one of his ankles in the TOR game. Damn. Not bad for a hillbilly.
The more I watch him, the more he reminds me of young Ginobili with those crossovers and herky-jerky moves.
one thing i didn't count on: reaves being the guy to manufacture FTAs when the offense gets in a rut. pretty amazing.
That is a good connection right there. He is a smart player with the skill to handle himself. He does a lot of small things people don't see but also has the skills to show up and be flashy. He has a plan on his attack on his defender and plays to what people think is a limitation for him. I personally love how he is always probing the paint, finishing after the contact and pushing the ball. The kid is just plain and simple... A baller.
