He, AR, and Dennis all tied for second leading scorer with 17 each. His baskets felt bigger.

Really strong bounce back, found multiple ways to get buckets

He seems to make more shots/play better in the 4th during crunch time. It’s a bit odd, but that’s what you want, rather than him starting off well and falling off at the end.

Rui's midrange game is good and will only get better with experience. Loved his game against MEM!

Now this is what I was asking for. I've seen him play great for us and wanted to see some of that fire again. He brought it!

Stepped up to help carry when AD went out with that cut nose and that carried him the whole game. Nice bounce back from a few bad games.

Rui is starting to believe GREAT TENACITY on rebounds and he is feeling his jumper ...... Anyone see rui look at Dillon when rui was at the FT line rui mand up after that Dillon got him going...,.... Also looks like he has been living in the gym he looks a lil. More yolked up more define compared to when he arrives in LA ..... Bulk up. Some. Use your weight and size ala lebron for easy buckets

I like Rui and hope he sticks around. He won't turn into a star but I think there is still plenty of untapped potential there.

He's at 1:2 in the good/bad game ratio now lol.

The problem for him he seems so anonymous unless that jumper is going. That's a problem:
    1) the shot is way too flat for him to be consistent
    2) he's a really big and strong dude but isn't that active. He should be making a living on the glass and just cutting to the basket like Vando. Hopefully he'll learn from watching him

I think he should work on some post moves in order to take advantage of his big body. Bully Ball Rui!!!

weird thing is he came into the league as a high post player, right? this is part of why i was mystified when people were suggesting he was going to be our wing stopper--both the wing and the stopper part were dubious.

as i said when we got him, he should be locked in a film room with nothing but marcus morris tapes. he has the physical profile and skill level to do all things morris does, imo. and morris carved out a nice career for himself.

another nice game from Rui off the bench. He's been a nice source for buckets with that mid range. I hope we can keep him (and this team) around.

Needed someone who could score 1v1 against a locked in defense and he did for a couple critical possessions. Real big shots

No coincidence that DLO is back and Rui is back to balling.

He was killing Toronto with his pump fakes. Like seeing him doing more than just the mid range J. Keep working with Handy and diversify that offense.

Love his aggressiveness again tonight and that he doesn’t just settle for the three.
