Injuries, injuries, injuries. I keep vacillating back and forth whether it’s better to miss the play in so guys can have longer to rest and get their surgeries/rehab, so they can come back healthy next year and we have a full year with the new group. Unfortunately I fully expect our key players to get hurt again next year regardless of how much rest they get.
My WMC is actually what happened AFTER the game...d-lo announcing he's out for Friday's game and not even sure if he'll be ready for Sunday's game? Wtf is going on?
Like f***ing clockwork this season. This team if they can crawl their win deserves props: they have consistently fought even when getting hammered, guys have played thru injuries, and played a ridiculously tough schedule
Very, very tough loss tonight on many levels. We can probably kiss goodbye any chance of catching Minny now. A win would have done us so much good in the standings. We competed, we closed the gap but just could not get over the hump in the fourth quarter.
really think those losses to the pels and thunder broke the season when they happened. lebron's injury sealed it. if he's healthy right now, i think we run off a bunch of wins. but having both him and russell out for the part of the schedule were we really needed the wins is just...well, par for the course for the past few years, tbh.
Players should have taken the early part of the season more seriously. Losing games and acting like you can make it up later in the season is never a good idea.
Warriors are on a roll without Curry and Wiggins. Maybe Steph will have a very bad game on Sunday and break his team momentum for one game but yeah the season is likely to be over with a loss
That was a must win game with all the other games around the league going in our favor. Can't be losing games against teams we're trying to catch.
Without Lebron, seems like teams which will give Lakers trouble are teams which overwhelm Schroeder and Reaves physically and athletically. They're the only guys who can create outside of AD and the Wolves just had two big athletic freaks who could stay with DS and Reaves and conversely they were physically overmatched trying D up Edwards Dlo mitigates this somewhat as he's not a super athlete but he's got good size and he's just a more dangerous shooter off the dribble than either. If fully healthy, I don't think this impact the Lakers much as team best wing defender will focus on Lebron and D.Lo will have the second best leaving Reaves and DS against 3rd and 4th best.
think i mentioned after the minny game that it was a good strategy that would have zero chance of success against our full roster. whatever, minny needed the win as much as we did, and they exploited the weakness.
