OK, that would make sense for them.

Wouldn't that just mean that AR's gonna get more run? Don't think it's that big of a deal.

Still rather find one more wing. For PG options in a pinch we have: Reaves, LeBron, or Pippen Jr.

I would too. Honestly if Danny Green is available and has recovered from injury I would take him. He’s kind of the fit I’d like, a two way wing veteran who can knock down threes. He can just take spot minutes if needed. He could be a valuable add. And he already has experience winning a championship with Lebron and AD. Easy fit.

AR already is a better PG than Dennis. Dennis has a more refined scoring game, but Austin is a far superior passer.
Bring up Huff instead for LaBamba insurance.

reaves still isn't a pg, and pippen still isn't an nba player. we'd be much better off with a dragic than relying on either for real pg minutes, imo.

and we also have a ton of wing depth at this point. walker can't even get on the floor, and he was the legitimate starter for us early in the season.

yes. we were patient and it paid off. ainge has now been greedy twice this year and gotten burned. guess he's going to live off the gobert trade in utah like he lived off the one good trade he made in boston (well, technically both kg trades, but i don't give him credit for the first because lurch stepped in and gifted it).

I was thinking of a bigger wing in the 6'6"-6'9" range. But if either PG went down with a season ending, sure, Dragic is a nice replacement. Just with the current roster another bigger wing is the only spot that I see. For bigs we still have Gabriel and Huff waiting. Since Ham is enamored with DS there are no real minutes for another PG. He is barely playing DLO enough minutes already.

right, but there's not a big wing that's supplanting hachimura or vando, and if one of them went down, there's also not anyone that size available that i'd rather play than just moving beasley up to sf and giving walker his sg minutes back. we could withstand a wing injury. we could sorta withstand a center injury (though we're thin there), but we're thinnest at pg. we have only two.

I think it’s by Rob’s design that we have only two point guard.:giggle:

Probably. Give Ham another typical PG, and you're looking at a 3-guard lineup, while Rui and Vando sit on the bench.

Austin grew up running the point and is perfectly fine at filling in there.
