Corey Maggette looked like a freakin bodybuilder. His arms and shoulders were nuts.

a 38 year old athlete with 20 NBA seasons under his belt should not look like that. just insane

good genes for sure, but it's no secret how much $$$ he's spent on caring for his body throughout his career. i don't think any athlete in history has put as much effort and money into their body as lebron

He should not play the all-star game whether he plays the last game or not. If he is too injured to play these important games resting the week is a no brainer. I could just see Ham cutting Lebron's minutes while going for that record. He was playing big minutes to break the record asap. It wasn't for wins.

i think ham wanted to win, tbh. but i have some questions about lebron's motivation to play through that pain. think it was to get the scoring title out of the way.

again, i'm going to reserve judgment until all the dust settles. if he's hurt, ok. it happens. if he was hurt and played through it for the scoring title, sits, and then asks for a trade, the pitchfork is coming out.

rob delivered pretty hard at the deadline after a lot of passive aggressive bs. you can't play in all star games and not important regular season games and then turn around and say the organization didn't have your back. nope. no sir.

Regarding the All-Star game, I don’t know if things have changed, but if it’s not a pretty “legit” injury the league gets pretty mad if their biggest stars skip it. I agree that if he’s hurt he should skip it, but maybe he’ll just start and play 10 mins and sit the rest, I feel like Kobe did that one time.

OK good. The dude looks like he has enough skills to maybe score some points. Let’s get this win tonight!

LeBron is old and was carrying the team so I can believe he legit hurt his foot.

Not sure how much he cares about playing in the All star game. I can see him playing limited limits.

Beyond that, what little chance we have at the play in is because he carried the team with AD out. He’s certainly done his part on the court regardless of his motivation.

    I don’t think he’s faking.

Bron shooting mechanics are terrible, I appreciate Ruiz’s form more game after game, it’s a thing of beauty

What? It has nothing to do with games we need to win or not. It has to do with fans coming to see their favorite athelete. ASG is quite popular, so there is a chance someone wanted to come up to that.

Yes, I wish he'd show up for our games too, but these two are very very different. ASG he can simply walk around.

And Kobe most certainly didn't use it in context of winning, rather showing up to work hurt...

Maybe he thinks the league will send an invitation to the Lakers to be part of the play-in .

It's obvious he does not care about the team , no sense of urgency

bright side: pretty sure we don't win last night even if he plays.

Nonsense. Did you not hear at the end of his short speech (oh wait scratch "short") following breaking the record, same as Kobe would have, when he said, "now we have to go out there and finish this game and do our best to get a win." ?

    Oh wait!!

Is he still resting up for the all-star game tonight?

He is "questionable" for the game against the New Orleans Pelicans tonight. His status doesn’t really mean much at this point as he’s often been a game-time decision, but at least there's a possibility that he'll play tonight.
