    We've got so many playable guys that might not crack the rotation that I'd be okay with getting Green as a locker room guy. This team might benefit from that more than a Ross/Barton type

    That was actually my first thought, but maybe he’s gotten over that by now, who knows.


    I think he’s mostly done, but I don’t see anyone we’d pick up getting time really, even Walker looks to be out of the rotation possibly once Beasley plays. I just think we need one more adult in the room, LeBron and AD are the oldest players on the team now. Need a Dudley/Rondo type figure.

    Re Danny Green, my mind also immediately went to the death threats. But I'm sure he gets that that's the sort of thing that would happen in any city after missing a wide open three that could have singularly sealed a championship. If he'd been playing for PHI when that happened, some Sixers fan probably would have made good on the threat, or at least thrown a battery at him.

    only solution is like, more 2nd rounders (!). you can't just nullify. especially when gs caught heat in the press for being d******es--selling a #2 overall for nada, or worse, a guy they let go.

    i don't think you can just call it off.

    also, sources tell me BOB MYERS IS SCRAMBLING!!!11

    He was, and the Jazz would take him even if he wasn't, since they are not interested in him at all -- only his contract. He'll go to the HEAT or Chicago soon. I mean, he said that he was actually interested in playing for the Jazz, but they didn't seem too enthusiastic about it. Maybe they come to an agreement, who knows. But honestly, if I was Russ, I'd go to the Nuggets. They are a good shooting team, which would probably work OK, and they need an extra guard in limited minutes.

    You know what would be funny? If he ends up in Denver and Jokic then carries him to the championship.
