This is what separates Kobe and Lebron. We all know Kobe would had played in this game with each game being pivotal for their playoff chances. Lebron is more methodical in his ways because he is mentally overwhelmed from last Tuesday and not 100 % physically. They are playing against the Bucks with the Lakers Squad in transition with all the player trades. So Lebron sits this one out conceding that the Lakers will lose with him ( he may be right) , so he can rest his body for the future with more reinforcement on the way, while Kobe mentality would had been that he will carry or will himself to a win tonight being short handed.

I had zero issues with LeBron sitting this one out.
That being said, we just added FOUR rotation players to this squad that needs to go on multiple win streaks just to make the play in.
At least we are setup VERY nicely moving forward. I just hope that the plan isn’t to go after Kyrie this summer.

Biggest issue I had was LeBron talking about himself and the kid from Akron schtick for like 20 minutes before the game and of course never once mentioning the game itself. It’s why many hate him. Still happy we have him and amazingly at 38 he truly is still a great player. Sure …. it would be nice if he could go 100% on D as well all game long but that’s not realistic at 38. Balanced out by how efficient and great a scorer and passer he still is.

He doesn't have good speaking skills. He can't formulate coherent dialogue. You'd think with all the training he does he would train himself by now how to create a template to explain his accomplishments without sounding like a self absorbed a** hat.

    LOL .... this guy!!

But WTF, don't care. I was just as much NOT a fan of Shaq the bully on the floor calling out guys 70lbs lighter and getting demolished by him and his elbows physically, like Mutumbo, his work ethic compared to Kobe and his personality. But same as then, with LeBron since he got here and DID save the franchise from that drain we were circling and giving us AD and relevance again, a RING and some incredible basketball with "chances" (health willing, same as all teams) at rings every single year.

Real goats don’t bring goats to parties or tell you they’re the greatest of all time in interviews. Only narcissistic insecure desperate for your approval ones do stuff like that.

    And he’s my favorite player

In this one Haynes did some reporting about Bron's foot. He said Bron was in a lot of pain in the OKC game. It can be extremely painful for him, depending on how he moves and cuts. Towards the end it was unbearable, I'm assuming that's why he had to come out of the game. Haynes thinks it's something he'll have to deal with and manage the rest of the season.

Not good. We need every single win we can get and a reasonably healthy Lebron and AD. Neither one are 100% right now. Doesn't bode well for the playin push.

Shame that Westbrook didn't work out because the idea was that even if he wasn't great fit (ok I hated the fit), he'd let AD/Lebron get a break was the one thing I thought Russ could have helped with

And he had all kinds of those opportunities to play the point every damn way he wanted … but poor Russ the Lakers misused him.

ah yes, i remember hearing that quite often when russ was first acquired

then we saw how much he lacks in the bball IQ department to go along with the fact that he can't shoot, struggles to finish at the rim, and has lost some of the athleticism his whole game relies on

The athleticism, to me, was the least of the problems you listed. Just meant not many dunks any more but he still blew by guys for layups either hand off either foot, if he had any consistent touch (left?) (or has touch always been a problem?) once he got there.
