Probably Bojan. GtJ might be too expensive now. Bojan is cost controlled for only 18-20 mil for 3 years! Anounoby could be another possibility if they feel inclined to have someone to try and guard KD. How would that deal look? Maybe, Beverly/Walker/Reaves/Max/2029 1st unprotected for OG and small salary fillers. More bang do buck with Bojan.

We are out on OG, simply do not have the assets. I think TOR's focus is on what they can get for OG. A single FRP for GTJ + a servicable player or 2 on expiring should be suitable which is exactly what we have. Not saying we won't be outbid but TGJ could also say he wants the Lakers (it can happen).

And TGJ is not the perfect wing for us, neither is Bojan, OG is, but we are out of that race. TGJ or Bojan in particular could help immensely though. I am leaning more toward Bojan even though I know he doesn't even know what a block is.

Royce is a PF like I said ("We don't need PGs and PFs"). Seth plays PG a small percent but it's the same for 2's we don't need any. Reaves/Walker

I think we could be looking at a deal for Bojan or Hield. Their salaries are within a reasonable range relative to their production, and Hachimura/Beasley are not necessarily locked in as starters at the SF and SG positions respectively. Bogdan too. He is a free agent, but probably wouldn't command more than 20 million.

Wow Durant got traded too? The Nets really messed up... should have just gave Kyrie that contract extension. Now they're left with... Ben Simmons.

Imagine trading away Bron/AD and being stuck with Westbrook until 24/25 lol

Went to bed feeling great. Woke up to the KD news.

How in the hell did they swing Durant and not give up Booker, CP or Ayton?! That team is going to be lethal.

wow, i had a lot of catching up to do.

protected 1st is what i figured poeltl would go for. interesting that toronto wanted him back so badly.

i figured durant was gone after we heard about the talks. hopefully this calms AD down? what phx gave up is pretty insane for a guy his age. we gave up less for a 26 year old AD, who was, at the time, a definite top 5 nba player. phx owes so much of that AFTER paul and kd will be done playing, too.

after all the talk, so far the raptors are buyers not sellers. i feel like trent has to go there. not sure if he makes a ton of sense here, but if the price is right...

    final scoreboard on rob pelinka:

    me: 1
    anthony irwin: -65,000,000

Aside from what else we do, I'm interested in seeing what the Warriors, Grizz, and Pelicans do today. Rumor is the Warriors are shopping the youth, and the latter two have all their picks and a lot of assets to move. I think OG goes to Memphis.

PHX is the favorite in the West now but not a prohibitive one IMO. CP3 has the late season injury literally every year, I think he’s even more important to that team now that they’ll be remaking things on the fly. Does Ayton no longer hate the coach and everyone involved anymore? They’re really, really thin on the bench and Booker/KD have each missed big chunks this season.

GTJ would be my target. If you are going to trade your other 1st round pick it needs to be for someone young like we did yesterday. Bidding probably just went up so not sure PatBev+Walker+1st rounder gets it done...

Trent just turned 24 a couple of weeks ago, gives us another young player to build around. Not only that but it would be the 3rd volume shooter we acquired in two days, although Beasley would now move down in the pecking order...

    SF LeBron James
    PF Rui Hachimura (6'8- 25 years old)....12.8ppg
    C Anthony Davis
SG Malik Beasley (6'4- 26)....13.4/.359/.841- 3.1 makes per game
    PG D'Angelo Russell (6'4- 26)....17.9/3.1/6.2/.465/.391/.856- 2.7 makes per game

SF Gary Trent Jr. (6'5- 24)....18.6ppg/.445/.372/.831- 2.7 makes per game
    PF Jarred Vanderbilt (6'9- 23)...8.3/7.9/2.7
    C Thomas Bryant
    SG Austin Reaves
    PG Dennis Schroder

    SF Troy Brown Jr.
    PF Wenyen Gabriel
    C BUYOUT MARKET
    SG Max Christie
    PG BUYOUT MARKET

On Get Up, Woj gave some KD trade details...

    - key for Nets was getting Bridges in the deal.
    - Suns were close to a 3 team deal that would've landed them Collins, then shifted to the KD late in the night.
    - late into the evening the Nets were still pursuing deals to build around KD and improve. Had they done this in the reverse order, maybe they do the Kyrie to LA deal instead of the Dallas one.

We’ll see how it works for Phoenix these superteams haven’t worked out in recent years as we are well aware of. CP3 and KD are both prone plus there is only like 25 games left in the regular season to make this thing work. They also gave up three really good players to land Kevin so I’m not sold they’re a lock for the Finals yet.

Yeah. I think the Nets let pettiness get in the way of doing what was best for the team with Kyrie. Could have had our first and what they got from Phoenix.

    Oh well.
