Christie and Reaves know they’re valued so there’s that. EDIT: I probably jinxed them and they will get traded for Muscala
lol, i was trying to think of who that would be now. we traded svi for bullock and zubac for muscala. that's like christie for norvell from minny? reaves for kenrich williams? probably worse in both cases. my contention is those were magic-led choices, so we'll see if we've fully washed that off.
Russ, Pat, Lonnie, Gabriel, Reaves, Christie, I mean basically anybody outside of LeBron/AD is on the block for any trade imo.... But sure, you make a good point. It's been MOSTLY Russ and Pat, versus before it was literally our entire young core (Ingram, Zo, Kuz, Hart, Zu). But Russ and Pat still play significant minutes for us so they could affect us because they're also considered "leaders" on this team that others will listen to. Idk - I just want these guys gone by Thursday.
well, all this and vinnie johnson was a backup guard, which was part of the reason for his nickname (he warmed up quickly). the pistons played laimbeer, aguirre, dantley, rodman, mahorn, salley, and james edwards aside from the three small guards (again, only two of whom started). in other words, they were large everywhere except for their very offensively talented backcourt. the blazers were able to compete for years with two small guards starting because a) the rest of the lineup was big and b) they were both offensive dynamos. when they got cute and decided josh hart was a small forward...
Preemptive wmc - LeBron passes Kareem but we still lose tonight because we continue to pplay the 3-guard lineup down the stretch
I miss the days when they had the dress code, now the look like they’re all going to the park or in the case of Kuz, The Blue Oyster bar
Losing this game convincingly to OKC on the night LeBron breaks the scoring record is the perfect metaphor for what this franchise has become.
Needed to win these last two and they blew it: could have been in the driver's seat for the playoffs and just gave it away
Okay, I take back my post from last week about this team possibly caring about defense in order to turn things around. Pathetic.
