i think of that hot dog sketch every time lebron is complaining about his situation. "we're all trying to figure out who did this!"

Lebron feels that other team don't want to trade fairly with the Lakers because of him, but I feel it's also because organizations are jealous of the Lakers. We are the place to be and that makes the rest of the league mad. Combine that with the presence of Lebron and no good deals come our way for a star.

Well sure …. all that. PLUS the giant elephant in the equation that is Russ. Good guy but it’s pretty damn obvious other teams don’t want to give up anything of value, his expiring (also “giant”) contract notwithstanding …. without the penalty tax being asked so far of 1 FRP also to get a deal done.

How is that a tantrum? Like really, that’s so nothing. This is him today

It's not a tantrum. It all sounds good actually.

Except the postseason part, because they can't even get there by winning critical games, such as the last one.

i think it's pretty standard lebron. who else tweets a complaint (and that was, most definitely, a complaint) when their team doesn't swing a trade? especially with a platform that big? it's just like when he called the reporter back earlier in the year because he wanted to more fully lodge his complaint.

and wilbon was right to sort of smirk at the "well now i'm locked in again" stuff. wait--you weren't? and now you are? what? until we're in another trade rumor? and again, how do russ, bev, and walker put all their effort into being support players when they know lebron wants them all out ASAP for someone better.

it's ok to want it in your heart; just don't say it with your mouth. we can control our behaviors much more than our thoughts and emotions.

I'm fine with all of this. But I still want us to make some kind of trade. Even if it's just Bogdanovich for Beverly, Jones, JTA and a FRP. Ideally some protection on it, but I'd be ok with no protection at this point to just have a better roster, especially without Pat Bev. Ham CANNOT stop using him poorly. For that reason alone he needs to go. Also he makes $13 million which is insane. Also I can't stand him. And Bogdanovich would be a great fit here. We need someone to lighten the load on Lebron and AD for scoring.

Yeah. I thought the interview was going to be much more than that. Pretty meh to me.

I still expect a move by the trade deadline of some of the guys we aren’t planning to resign.

let's all take a second and remember that it was lebron who wanted russ

sorry, not gonna buy into his "woe is me" thing when he's part of the reason for these disastrous last two seasons

    Everyone wanted Russ.

    It was a huge mistake.

Way past time to move on.

right. what irks me is that lebron gets to get digs in about it, acting like it was foist upon him when there's clear documentation that the reverse was true.

the "why'd everyone screw lebron" narrative is a) false and b) detrimental to our franchise.

think he meant lebron/AD, rob, jeanie, etc.

and that's accurate. though, again, rob had a kuz/trez for hield deal basically completed that would have saved us a ton of heartache.

Yeah. I was referring to the front office and our stars.

In all our armchair GMing on here I don’t think anyone here threw this move out there. Lol.

Well, we're playing OKC tomorrow. Let's see how serious Bron and AD are about making it to the play-ins at least.

we'll give up 130 in regulation and the media will ask lebron why he doesn't have any help and he'll ask them the same question oh so cleverly.
