That's a reach.
It's a totally different team from what we have seen so nothing of substance supports that claim. I was a big advocate of that trade for a while and would have been awesome to have done it, but Indiana didn't wanted to. But "title favourites" is just the type of cap we would be mocked for in other teams' forums doomsday threads

 

Nobody said it was everything, but it is obviously something we are sorely lacking and will likely spell an early exit if we don't get some or improve.

At least Westbrook ended his negative plus/minus streak with a "0", but his shooting continues to derail us (2-16 from field and 0-5 from distance). We would not have to scrape through these games so hard if we weren't outscored by 30 and he was continuing shooting.

He is now (-69) when on the floor in his last 7 games, and we have won four of those in spite of him. His shooting has been 33% (32 of 99) and 20% (5 for 25) dreadful.

We are going absolutely nowhere until he is replaced or benched all together...

I know everyone wants to pretend the Pacers are really good but truth is we barely beat them and they are only 24-29 and currently out of the playoffs.

Dude what. The pacers were without Halliburton for the last like 13 games and they lost like 11 of 13...and he happened to return against us and he came back and didn't miss a beat and picked up right where he left off. This Pacers team is actually good whether you like it or not and they're a decent home team with Halliburton. This was a damn good win imo...and one we sorely needed and one we coulda easily gave up on.

 

Also ditto on Zion returning against us - wouldnt be surprised at all

But I believe he hasn't even been re-evaluated yet so I doubt he'll play but I wouldn't doubt the Pels playing their a**** off against us and law of numbers says theyll break their losing streak against us...they'll be losers of 10 straight coming into that game.

 

With Halliburton they were a playoff team and you can see why: he's such a good PG. Scores, shoots, sets people up, and on top of that he's got good size.

Of course after 11 games, he comes back against the Lakers. The Lakers IMO have played the toughest schedule in the league: I've lost count of how many times the opposing teams best players suddenly come back to play against the Lakers
