Good news for the refs tonight in Brooklyn: with AD and Lebron out, they don't need to make any "gut-wrenching" calls against us.

TB and Hachimura are the new Kobe/Profit. I keep mistaking them for each other in the wide shots.

I just read we need to go 18-13 to even finish .500, I know that’s an obvious thing, but I’d been avoiding putting it in perspective. We’re so screwed

really don't get why they rested lebron and AD tonight

they very likely come away with the W if those two had played

We definitely need to start winning. Even though we are only 3 and 1/2 games behind 6th, the season is starting to slip away. I thought getting AD back as well as Walker would help us immediately but not yet. When is Reaves coming back?

F'it, season is over. Even if we get to the playoffs, we are not going anywhere. It's too late to make any moves that will significantly change this outcome.

Pelinka gets one more year and then can him if he can't do this. Rebuild with a new team.

Next year is the last year of this Lebron and AD experiment. We have an outside punchers chance in the playoffs with a healthy AD and Lebron but I doubt we make any major moves till the offseason.

i think it's why lebron has been so upset by the close losses, which have been sort of uncanny/ridiculous, tbh.

we've been in so many games. BPI has us as better than a lot of teams that will finish ahead of us, and it's pretty much all due to losing all the close and OT games, often in devastating fashion.

none of this is to say we're contenders. but we're not the 13th best team in the west. the kicker is i could see us finishing 18-13 and still missing the play-in.

I think if LeBron, AD, and Reaves can stay on the court, we can go 18-13, easy. By the end of AD's MVP-caliber run, we looked like we could beat any team on any given night. 18-13 a .580 win percentage. Feels pretty doable to me, if we can just get/stay healthy. Big "if," I know.

18-13 is definitely possible if LeBron and AD don't miss any big chunks, but its incredibly frustrating that we're even in this position. When healthy this is a pretty good team, its night and day from last year. They compete every night. If we hadn't come into the season with such a stupidly unbalanced roster we probably could have been a 5 or 6 seed right now with a real chance to move into the Top 3 or 4. We could have made a real run at it this season, no one in the league scares me right now. Instead we're probably going to waste an awesome LeBron year and who knows how good he is going to be next year.

If you think the refs ever could actually steal your season, you were never good enough to make a great postseason run.

    10 teams now get in

I don’t mind the venting over bad calls, but saying refs blew the season just means you weren’t good enough

if the refs stole 4 games--not like flip a coin, tough luck but objectively bad call that changed the outcome--and you miss the playoffs instead of get to play even one round, i'd say it's kind of a big deal.

But if you barely missed the 10th spot in the conference, you weren’t any good to begin with.

This team is maddening. A win is a win and I’ll take it, but something about our late game execution has to change, we can’t keep doing this. LeBron is dealing with foot soreness, AD is still working back, we can’t be having unnecessary OT games.

we're an awful defensive team, and that's the end of the story. opposition just has to run action to get AD out of the play, and it's curtains. you could see brunson's eyes get big whenever AD couldn't get to him.

really amazing how we went from being the league's best defense to...this...in such a short time frame.

My WMC? Russ playing well in OT.

Because it's just going to give Ham more "evidence" that Russ is good for us in crunchtime.

In reality, he'll have 1 good game out of 6 in crunchtime and that one time he does, will be used as justification for the next 6 times that he costs us the game.

We're 24-28 and nearly blew another game - we're up 6 with lik ea minute left and somehow we almost lost in regulation? Thank GOD Randle is an idiot.

    Also - Wenyen/Christie bascially getting no minutes...smh.

Vogel would have had a constant woody to have the personnel on this team with even Russ included (vs the version of him last year) …. to mold into a top tier defensive team. Vs the garbage he had last year. No reason with the athleticism and players that we should be this bad.
