I noticed that, in fact he was talking over Myles the entire time just ignoring he exists. I doubt he's super proud of giving Myles what now amounts to 75 million over 3 seasons to a tier 3 or 4 star, especially from the lowest-budget team in the NBA.

    Latest from Stein

Hawks fine with keeping Collins, but are still fielding calls. Indy, NO, & Jazz interested.
Kings interested in Thybulle and not buying out Holmes
Bones Hyland one of the more likely players to be moved

I definitely am not watching if he is on this team. Just can't do it. Hard enough already, but that guy should never be in the Purple and Gold.

This is his 6th year in the league, he's spent 4 of those on the block. Since he was old enough to legally drink, his team has been talking about moving him. I hope they pay for his visits to the shrink, because that will drive you mad and I don't know why they think it won't affect his on the court performance.

right, and how they haven't connected their underperforming to issues like this. they're going to move him, then they give him a huge contract. then they're going to move him again. now they're like, "but not really". just get it over with. ainge tried to screw you, so trade with someone else, but i can't believe you're going to have success with this hanging over your roster every day, forever.

edit: and i still can't get over that turner press conference. they do the right thing and use their financial flexibility to sign him to a team-friendly deal that gets him some extra cash and allows the team to move on from him being on the block, and they celebrate this by...just being super weird.

So I dreamed last night that we traded with the Bulls:

    Out: Westbrook + Gabriel + our 2 FRPs + 3 SRPs

In: DeRozan + Caruso + PWilliams

It works on the trade machine. :ShaqOh2:

feel like this is how this stuff happens. slow hints and leaks and then bam, paul is gone at the deadline.

these reports are chumming the waters, imo. phx seeing if there are buyers, how fans might react, how paul might react, etc.

not saying it's a sure thing, but stuff like this has happened before.

edit: and if i'm one of the bunched up teams in the west or on the outside looking in out east, i'm making a courtesy call. see how cheap he might go...

Yes CP3 is starting to decline....

No, his contract is not starting to decline, he's getting 30.8 for each of the next 2 seasons. haha. If only their dirtbag racist, sex-harassing-nearly-former owner Sarver had to suffer through these last few years of playoff-missing injury-filled seasons could it be better.

Anyone notice that wherever CP3 goes, the owner turns out to be a racist pig? Just a strange trivial fact.

he's only guaranteed at 15 after next year, then fully NG. on our part, this is the home run swing trade that we tend to like.

i don't think it's going to happen--pincus's trade idea was too good not be already considered and dismissed by one or more of the parties long prior to his publishing it.

i do think that a) paul is probably available if phx can get a younger pg back and b) there will be teams willing to take a swing there.

still watching SA's cap space, btw. they may end up using it to myles turner poeltl or something, but if they don't, they're almost certainly going to be involved in some sort of move in the next week or so.

Makes me sick to my stomach that talk of CP3 getting traded here is a possibility.

So we've been hearing for a while now that the FO likes the possibility of being able to trade all three of the 2023, 2027 and 2029 FRPs on draft night for a bigger star. My question is, what salary will we even have to trade on draft night? Russ and Bev are both expiring this year, so they can't be traded on draft night right? Are we even able to absorb a large salary in exchange for three picks on draft night? Is it possible that AD is the salary they plan to trade along with those picks, or is this "three picks on draft night" idea just another way for them to keep kicking the can down the road? I hadn't really scrutinized it until now and its not making sense to me.
