You sure do a lot of typing. Yes, I did get banned and we retired the name LBVD. But if you wish to continue this banter, you're welcome to PM me or not; no problem. And I'll break it down, but you probably won't. Either way, have a great day.
I put a decent chunk of money on us to win it all at +2000 when it looked like we were getting Kyrie. If these 4 games with missed calls went our way we’d be 4th in the West with trades to make. Forget any fines our guys get for complaining about the refs, these refs might cost me thousands of dollars lol.
I tend to not jump on being opinionated about every move, good or bad. I almost always have a wait and see attitude. I also think that nothing good happens without some pain first. In all things, life is about the journey and journey's are historically tough. Many Lakers fans are entitled. They think winning is our god given right and they don't respect the process. Nothing is easy and to win anything, anywhere, it takes a lot of work and pain. Even the best players have a hard time getting to the mountain top, most of the time. Everyone will say, NOT JORDAN, he won six titles out of 6 chances. Well, that means every other year, HE DIDN'T EVEN GET TO THE DANCE!!!! Personally I think Magic has a better record because he won 5 titles and got to the Dance 9 times!! That is out of 12 years in the league. But it ruined us fans for decades and we still suffer from it.
Ok. And then off the top, I think of 3 games we blew (no refs needed): Indiana (@ home), Boston (@ home) Philly (on road) where AD could have sealed the game with FT's after that wonderful run we had... It's a .500 team. Hope they improve. Let's see if they can get some momentum with health, and I'll change my attitude toward the team.
I know, people will say -- well, they had this horrible start and they did it to themselves. It's their fault they are in this position in the first place. And that's true, but we have many new players, we needed at least some time to gel, and the refs are certainly not helping us right now. I don't get mad easily, certainly not over sports, but last night I was livid. We should have won that game in regulation. It was a great effort against the best team in the league, on their court, and it was all for nothing.
doesn't the NBA benefit when the lakers are winning? you'd think they would have had a talk with the refs after the first time it happened
Refs, shut the f*** up. "Gut-wrenching"?! ..."sleepless nights"?! Bull. s***. If they lost any sleep it's because cash isn't that comfy to sleep on.
LeBron +/- with the NBA fans has been pretty bad though so I guess he is being jobbed now, to borrow a wrestling term
Looks like Monday's game in Brooklyn is a loss: AD and Lebron sitting it out. .500 and Sisyphus: the latter can be knocked out with a round of simple antibiotics, the former: who knows?
yeah, weird capitulation there. we need as many wins as we can get. should have sat them for the marquee saturday night game against boston. if we have another one like that, i wonder if we'll sit the stars to send a message. i would. say a roadie at gs on primetime tv...no lebron/AD. bev plays 48 minutes with a mandate to make it ugly.
Ridiculous stuff from the refs. Just asinine. Yeah, I'm sure they are all losing sleep over their blown calls. Anyway why are Lebron and AD not playing next game? We absolutely need every win we can get right now.
Maybe The Rock is getting his dream and they’ve decided to break it all up and get what they can now in separate trades for both of them? Naw … no such luck I don’t think LeBron can be traded until the off season.
Pee on the Bubble ring and hate on James and long for the good old days post Kobe’s achilles and no FAs giving us the time of day?
