I'm sitting here anxiously waiting for tonight, then I realize most likely nothing will happen for us until what, Thursday the earliest? Not going to sign any lesser players until we know for sure we are out on the max guys.
I get that, I'm just saying its not like Aldridge or DeAndre will pick a team tonight, or even tomorrow early. They have to sit through all the interviews and such and then think about it. A lot of players will be in a state of flux until the max guys agree to terms.
With Karl, Rondo, and Cousins it will be a double homicide + a suicide. Just haven't figured out each of their roles yet.
exactly and after every meeting we will likely hear that that team is now leading in the pursuit of that player. Like some have mentioned in all these FA threads is to not get too caried away by whats being reported. A lot of smoke and mirrors going on with agents trying to dictate the news. it is a lot of fun though to read all the tweets, speculate, and imagine. I can't lie about that.

Looks like I missed a pretty crazy day. Seems like every year there's a story that we are trying to make an instant super-team. Last year we were going after Melo AND LeBron, or Melo and some star big man I forget. Never pans out, and last time it did was a disaster. I have confidence we are going to sign someone of quality this summer, we have the cash and we have a better young core than last offseason. I'm gonna kick back and watch it all unfold.
I'm far more on board with getting Rolo with Aldridge and keeping all the young studs by somehow just unloading Young. I like Jordan but I'd just hate to lose Randle and Clarkson to do it. I think they're a better team with a lineup of Clarkson/ Russell, Kobe, Randle, Aldridge, and Rolo. That's a playoff team easy....
