    I've been looking at this date on the schedule for a few weeks now, and the feelings of dread - a lump in my stomach and a catch in my throat - haven't gotten better. I can see us down by 35 at one point, but in garbage time we cut the deficit to 19 before the final horn. Hey, this is the "optimism" thread, right?

    Hell of a win, Memphis is insufferable, constantly yapping when they haven’t won s***. Hell they wanted to fight a damn fan in Shannon Sharpe, that’s pathetic. Fake tough guy crap everywhere. Loved to see us snap their win streak, we shouldn’t fear them and it looks like we don’t. So good to finally be on the winning side of one of these close games.

    Something is missing when the Lakers don't win.

    Today we held on for the Hollywood ending. Russ rocked the baby, and this time Schroeder did not drop the bag when it came to the game winning steal. Lebron every Laker fan loves you and has never said a bad word about you. AD sat up straight and wore a cool scarf that showed he will be ready to dominate and definitely never get injured again.

    Fun game, let this be the start of a winning streak as we chase the tight west. Made me feel saudade for the Kobe teams pulling it together to win.

    Team has a few guys I don't like Nunn and Bevs (I don't like Westbrook's game but I definitely respect the guy for turning into a positive force for the most part and accepting a bench role). Other than that this FO needs to acknowledge that this team fights hard despite being on the short end of the stick both literally and figuratively on the talent side without AD/Reaves/Lonnie. It's worth the gamble they have been more than competitive and fighting to the last possession against NBA teams who always seem to get healthy and amped to play them

    Hey wow I was WRONG, wrong, wrong. What a thrill. Super-short-handed and we still played these young (talented) jagoffs tough the whole game. Denis's steal and score was effing THRILLING. And, for once: their guy bricked a crucial FT in crunch. Lebron wasn't even that great.

    I was WRONG, and I'm starting to feel it again. AD back next week?

    This is one of those Laker wins where I stay high for about 6 hours after the game. Hell to the YEAH!

    For all of the suckage for this season, the injuries, the lack of moves, the poor coaching, the bad rotations, the lack of defense, we are literally 2 games out of 6th place. That's pretty crazy.

    If this team could put together a nice run, they have the talent to potentially make a run in the playoffs. Here's to hoping for good health for all key people, and any moves to fill in the gaps so we can have a playoff run. I'm not sure anyone is an overwhelming favorite in the West that seems impossible to get past. Maybe we have a puncher's chance?

    It all depends on Anthony. It will probably take him 4 or 5 games to shake off the rust, but if that dude can stay healthy, the sky is the limit.
