Lebron deserves this. The fans don't. on a positive note, I have more free time for business pursuits.
…. Vogel can only wish he had this roster last year to scheme his better defense talent than Ham’s bait and switch performance with the midgets.
Refs are on one this year... (This isn't Lakers related but s***ty ref related and since the team is still walking funny from both over the barrel calls, figured it was relevant) I agree, they need to stop the reports. These excuses are making them look incompetent. The whole point is to catch it, own it, correct it. Not bull s*** excuses for the f*** up and doubling down in the process. If this is how they're calling it, then Bron won't get a call the rest of the year because he's bigger, stronger, faster. Apparently now that's a bad thing.
i'd just foul everyone down the stretch, and when they call it, i'd pull up the videos of the non-calls (that were fouls) that the league supported as non-fouls.
well, yeah! but nobody is that perennially. not even us. there are up and down eras. our last up era was unfortunately very short, but it yielded another title. guessing some teams like utah that were good for like 25 out of 30 years or something would probably trade a big chunk of those for a ring.
it's been so long i'm starting to forget what those days were even like. 19-20 aside, the last time the lakers finished top 5 in the west was 2012
I don't think Cam is some kind of a budding star here. But trading Nunn & a 2nd rounder to become younger, bigger, more athletic with at least some potential thrown on top of that is well worth it. Come on now. This is a good, recent video (analysis) of him and his game: Why wouldn't you take on a young wing with good size and solid talent and cheer for him to succeed? Groom some young guys, build a likeable team, nothing wrong with that.
i'd definitely be fine with reddish for nunn/2nd. as i said in another thread, i think the holdup would be whether we think we need nunn in another deal. beverley can't nab an impact player on his own at his salary level, imo. so does walker take nunn's place in any trade like that? is that ok?
^ That really depends. Walker is solid as a scorer when he is not forced to play out of position. If the deal is right, sure, because we have some redundancies on this team. But we better get some decent return for PatBev + Lonnie then. As is, Nunn + 2nd is a good deal for both teams and at least we'd be moving in the right direction. Sometimes, making small improvements with players who fit better is extremely important.
