So: we were starting to win games, marching steadily toward our Everest peak: .500 But we were beating "bad" teams. I looked at the schedule and saw the next 4 games were against teams over .500 and our record against those teams was pretty depressing. We were to play SAC and DEN on the road, then DAL and PHI at home. I said we need to go at least 2-2 for me become a believer again. We went 1-3. Admittedly, we played well in all 4 games. No one blew us out. And the refs effed us the last 2. But naw. I'm not there. I'll still follow the team, but this just ain't a winning team. It's a pretty good team considering all the injuries to key guys, but no one gives a s*** about that, do they? Sorry to ride in here with negative vibes, El Depresso, with his black cape, pointing at the Laker team and saying "you will go nowhere!" in a Darth Vader voice, but I guess that's my problem. Meanwhile, the C-BAGS are on a 6 game winning streak and atop the East. Effing BLOWS!
Were it not for rookie coaching blunders we’d likely have back to back quality wins vs Dallas and Philadelphia.
What rookie coaching blunders? I haven't coached a minute on any level and I knew the moment Russ rebounded the Embiid miss that you need, ney, you MUST call a timeout. And all of you knew that. Enough with the excuses. The man is dumb.
right. just stop with the reviews if you're just going to lie to save face. i'm looking right at it, a*******.
On another topic, nobody has ever given me a sufficient answer to this question: Why is Beerdo McFloppington the only guy in the League who is allowed to push the defender off with his non dribbling forearm EVERY SINGLE TIME he drives to the lane? It’s usually an offensive foul for every other player in the NBA.
been going on since he got to houston. i think the league was trying to prop him up as a star on purpose and a frankenstein's monster situation happened. it's less devastating now because he lost a step, but when he was at his peak, there was nothing you could do with how he was officiated.
I've been saying it for years, as long as there is ZERO accountability for these f***ers, this is what we'll get. I guess it's all good in Silver's Lalaland...
It took a perfect game of handling the basketball and Bron to nearly go out and get 50 to beat the worst team in the league. That's comforting.
Yeah, when you absolutely need Bron to go nuts at age 38 to barely beat the Rockets... it's not good.
