With AD out, all of our kids have the opportunity to step it up, the schedule is pretty soft for the next month. Austin can ball, and I'm sure that our plan is to go small for the foreseeable future. This is his shot to lock down a starting spot, and stay there when AD gets back.
He needs to jack his numbers. He does it all and has the composure to handle pressure, so he needs to be more alpha and go after the ball and make plays when he has it. With the lack of talent in our roster, especially with AD, he's easily our 2nd best player so he has to be at least ALWAYS on double figures. He only did it in half of our last 10, can't happen. He's a guy who in our roster could have easily a 15/4/4 average. Without AD is almost an obligation at this point
this kid has been the only bright spot for me this year. really hope we pay him before someone else does. would be another Caruso-level mistake to let him go.

Yeah on second look it looks like Reaves saw the streaking Russ who would have dunked it but Bev's thought it was for him. He gets to start and end games too guys!
Pat Bev made two bonehead mistakes on that play. First, when we started the break with Reaves running the middle of the floor, Beverley is supposed to flare out wide so they can't double Reaves and give him a pass option. Then, he compounded his mistake by playing D on Reaves pass. Just really really stupid.
