I’m not sure what you’re talking about. 59% win percentage is insane with that team.

And a 75% win percentage across his career and not just Washington is insane to me.

Oh 59% is good just not "insane" for the eastern conference with 2 superstars. Also, I don't believe the 75% stat, I didn't add up career numbers just Washington's 59% and last season with LA which was 50%

Fournier and Reddish for Bev, Nunn, and Jones? No picks or a 2nd?

You’re right, I often forget the Knicks exist, and didn’t realize Fournier was having such a down year. I guess I’m also taking into account that Bev and Nunn are having even worse years, they’re nothing more than expiring contracts.

From the start of the season, both Jones and Bryant have underwhelmed. Thomas has picked it up a bit, but not defensively. I would much rather see us not play AD at center all of the time for obvious injury reasons. This is the main reason as to why I would like a decent center alongside Davis. Since AD went into beast mode, it would be nice to have a big that could shoulder some of the burden on defense so Anthony doesn’t get worn down by having to do everything on both sides of the floor.

    https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/russell-westbrook-triple-double-win-percentage

The 75.1% was from NBA.com but it seems to be 2021 article. The above is current: 74%

Also I’m not sure if you understand how bad that Washington team was. Their best player outside of Beal and Westbrook was Rui Hachimura or Bertans? Those guys wouldn’t even make our top 7 rotation players and everyone says we have a weak roster. A 59% win rate is incredible with that.

Im higher on Reddish than most but Fournier has fallen off a cliff. Much rather just work something out for Cam if possible

Thomas Bryant looks good to me, the kid has only played in 9 games. I'm not mad at he and Wenyen being the other bigs.

Charlotte making the most sense right now: I like Rozier and Washington.

Nevertheless, Woj saying to watch Chicago isn't really breaking news, but maybe he's hearing something?

Idk. I know we're all concerned about Lavine's health, but he's put together some nice games in that crappy offense that Donovan runs; also, Klutch.

This will probably be struck down tomorrow with "but he isn't healthy..." Lol.

    Whatever. I'm watching it.

The quote that this tweet cherry-picks is misleading. Woj seems to be suggesting that we won’t trade BOTH picks in a single trade unless it brings back an all star type of return. He thinks we may pivot to tacking on a single first rounder to our expiring contracts (Bev/Nunn) instead.

I.e, Woj isn’t saying anything new here lol.

I do disagree with that mentality of only giving up both picks if it brings back an all star though. That shouldn’t be how we’re thinking about things. If you can trade Russ and both FRPs for a package of multiple players that doesn’t include a single all star but cumulatively still brings back good enough long term value, you do it.

I happen to think based on what we’ve heard that such a trade does not currently exist, but we shouldn’t restrict ourselves into that homerun mentality mindset.

I’m (perhaps delusionally) optimistic that we can package Beverley, Nunn, and a FRP for a player that really helps us.

I would like Reddish, but I don’t think he’s that guy. So trading Nunn or Beverley and reducing our salary matching potential for other deals, just for Reddish, doesn’t seem ideal to me. Can we scrounge together enough salary with our other minimum contracts to match Reddish? JTA, Jones, etc? I’m not sure if the math works.

Maybe we could do something like Nunn and a few seconds for Reddish, and then Beverley and a first for Poeltl? I don’t think that single-handedly solves our problems, but it balances our roster and gives us some long term pieces to try and develop.

Bev, Nunn, and JTA are worth 20 million in salary. All expiring contracts attached to a 1st or 2nd rd pick, that should be enough for someone looking to shed salary. The teams looking to tank will become clearer by next month.

He is saying he doesn't think there out a two-pick deal out there for us. Off the top of my head, players (who may or may not be available, who are in all-star level range) who would likely require two picks: Anounoby, LaVine, Beal. There are not too many of those guys, there really isn't. Unless by chance: Harden? KD? PG? Klay? Zach and Beal would seem the most attainable. Then there are good young player types that could require two picks based on age and potential: Turner, Trent. Don't you wish we could go back in time one year and offer Toronto two picks for Anounoby. They probably would of went for it., he was banged up with injuries. Now he is all hyped up because his DPOY contention. This is why the Lakers must be proactive in terms of their trades. We know they have great scouts.
