Trash lineups tonight from Ham. We spotted the Cavs 10 points with the minuscule starting lineup and Bev’s 1 for 6 trash three point shooting.
We gave them the game at the end as well. Put a 38 lebron at C against Allen and Mobley and no rim protection. Took out Bryant who just scored twice just blah from Ham
Oscar reminds me of Luke Walton towards the tale end of his career, sucked but kept getting minutes cause coach "trust" these guys for some odd reasons
some brain dead coaching by ham at the end there pulling bryant and going with the dreaded small-ball lineup. i really thought we had seen the end of that s*** once vogel was fired the shooting tonight reminded me of the first handful of games of the season. really hope this isn't the start of another awful shooting stretch
They should win more than 30 games. But when you get have to a.bsd start, you're margin for error is very thin. This is why losing games to Portland & the Clippers really suck. Add to that, I'm sure there will be more games where AD and LBJ sit out, too. It's an uphill battle.
thinking it ends up a 38-42 win season with a play-in date. bummer, but not all that unexpected once a russ trade didn't materialize in the summer. i'll be looking for a) more signs of life and vitality from AD, and b) hopefully some trading that sets us up for a better next year. let's get some continuity and add one or two good pieces to the guys we currently like. doing that makes us a 50+ win team next year with a puncher's chance at getting out of the pretty meh western conference.
still surprises me. i'd have had phx, gs, denver, dallas, memphis, and the clippers all ahead of them even with zion. now, kawhi's been hurt as has chris paul, and i probably didn't factor the mavs losing brunson in highly enough. still, 4/5 seed should have been their ceiling. i guess there's still about 50 games left to play, though.
we should send them something between the 10th and 15th pick is my guess. i was just expecting to something between 18 and 22 back instead of like, 28.
Only a masochist will be happy when you gift a generational player to the Pelicans after already paying in full AD’s value in picks and talent. This would be additional insult to injury, missing on at least Ralph Sampson level talent.
well, the pels sort of gifted us a *proven* generational talent that begat a title. if they get the #1 pick based on a 5% or less chance as a result...great, i guess? probably could have had those odds without losing a hofer in his prime, too. anyway, my wmc isn't that we're now going to "lose the trade". it's that the pels have sucked for every year until this swap. i mean, c'mon. just do you, pelicans. you suck.
