I stand corrected on Reaves. What about the other margin moves?

    ^^^ :Sunglassguy:

He's just blowing up with the additional playing time and his coaches' confidence in him. But if he keeps progressing like this his value to the league projecting couple years in the future might spur some team to call us on that Arenas rule poison pill advantage we have. Sure hope not. This is a situation where they f****** have to realize what they have here already, home grown, instead of always looking at older more expensive stars to chase. Bring Caruso back to play with this guy!!!

Good article, worth the time to read.

Another thing to Rob’s credit: he got Reeves for free; out maneuvering the rest of the league.

Please pay this guy when the time comes. I can’t imagine letting him walk like we did Caruso.

I like Reaves a lot more than Caruso, who I think is overrated at this point. I mean, he gets paid like a starter at $9M and scores 5-6ppg. Reaves fills the need of this team much better as a scorer/shooter/playmaker. And I don't think we could start both anyway. They don't handle the ball good enough as a PG.

I really miss KCP though. He's shooting 51.5% from 3 this year! Exactly the type the player we need alongside Lebron and AD.

They wouldn’t have to start together to still see a lot of time in the most important times in each game. Or to always have that kind of heady glue type player who makes winning plays on the floor. For not big money.

I liked Caruso and KCP, they were useful pieces. I look at Monk, Lonnie, Bryant as similar (not as good however). We need to do a better job of keeping these guys over the longer term.

To me that starts with Reaves who I think is the best of the role player bunch.

I've had enough with all this bums, Nunn, Shroeder, Beverly, Westbrook this game, taking touches from AR.

    Seriously.

OK. Some respects for Bev. Only wish he bodychecked Booker.

    EDIT:

Ayton is already punished. He will forever be remembered as the bum the Suns drafted over Luka. The Sam Bowie of this generation.

i don't see any reason why lonnie can't be as valuable as kcp, long-term. and we worked with klutch pretty cleverly to bring kcp along and make sure he was compensate. hopefully, the trust there will help us keep him in the offseason.

keeping reaves is totally in our hands.

Some nice savy moves out there tonight

First you dissed his tequila and then you acknowledged you looked for yours over the lob. Kid really is flying close to the sun right now.

Love that he’s getting the second most minutes per game- only behind AD.
The coaching staff understands all that he brings.
    Keep it up Austin!
