I thought Jones & Bryant would be an upgrade.

I was wrong. Completely. At the very least, I thought serviceable (Jones) and he's been outplayed by Wenyen.

i didn't know lebron would start slow out of the gates and then get hurt right when the schedule softened. i thought we could be a .500 team over the long haul, but not now. needed to win 7 out of the next 9 to right the ship, and that most definitely isn't happening now.

I've heard Schroder might be a possibility to come back for the Detroit game.

If that's true, I'm guessing he'll be rusty. Either way, we have to curtail Bev's minutes to like 10- 12 or just trade him. He's been horrible.

Nunn is another that is just taking up roster space. Time to start making phone calls if they haven't already been made on these two...

This is definitely the move to make right now or as soon as possible.

Honestly if we've deemed the season as lost, go to cost savings mode (on brand) and just want to dump the $18m of dead money; I'd dump each for future conditional 2nd rounders and sign Huff and Snell or Bledsoe (Klutch reasons).

I agree with except I'm not signing Klutch players just for Klutch reasons anymore.

I'm open to auditioning young players: see Marshon Brooks, Kent Bazemore, took back J Lin in a transaction that brought a draft pick back, etc.

I'm done with everything Klutch. My position as of today is starting the rebuild

Trade Nunn, Bev and a FRP for Turner and most of our problems are solved. Except now we'd have 4 bigs, in a system that doesn't seem to favor bigs. Maybe Beverley, Jones and Bryant. That clears up the logjam at 5, next I'm still going for Kyrie and Seth Curry. Now we have both players that can play with Lebron and AD, and guys that can step up in their inevitable absence, for one reason or the other. The main guns have been sputtering and stuttering out of the gate so far.

I'm considering the fact that perhaps we need in-house star replacements. Not more role players.

Offloading Jones and/or Bryant is the least of our concerns right now but you are not going to get a team to take both and in Jone's case could possibly have to give up a SRP to get someone to take him.

From what it appears, Kyrie and the Nets are in kiss-and-make-up mode. Curry has never been included by the Nets in anything, that is just Laker fans hopeful speculation.

Either could be waived, I just haven't seen other teams interested in giving up a FRP for Turner period. That is what Indy wants more than players. Kyrie won't be playing for Brooklyn next season and he and Curry are both on expiring deals.

Well Bev and Nunn need to be replaced for sure. They are awful. If you could get Turner for them and a pick you do it.

LeBron especially. Davis is working hard playing closer to his abilities. But double and triple teamed with no consistent help isn’t doing him any favors.

they're both playing at a high level. lebron's scoring numbers are down but his assists and rebounds are up from last season. AD's numbers are mostly up from last season

No. LeBron’s shooting for bleep out of the blue and has on occasion done a good brain farting imitation of Russ’s highlights both offense and defense, in that area. Before he got sick and with the foot limiting him already, deciding on Hero ball late one game where Reaves and Ryan bailed him out in regulation, while other players were scoring well

not saying he's played great, but 25 9 and 7 is still playing at a high level regardless

says a lot about the rest of the team when you have lebron and AD putting up the numbers they are and their record is 2-10

Lebron is getting numbers shooting the team out of some of these games. AD is piling up stats in the first halves of games. That's cool for " good" players, not the superstars they are supposed to be.
