Or play it out in order to decide, if we need to move both AD and Westbrook for players and picks.

I could buy this if I thought we would seriously entertain trading AD. I just don't think we're there.

We shouldn't be yet..it's a long season. However..I would be looking long and hard at whether Anthony deserves to be our franchise player. I expect him to rise to the occasion no doubt, but if he doesn't for some reason, he gotta go too. We should have a solid opinion on the subject by the trade deadline.

Dunno. I haven't really dug into this Kyrie thing much. I understand that he liked a tweet about a movie. It's funny how Shaq reacted to this situation tho, since he owns a movie theater, that played that same movie a couple of years ago. I do know that these Hebrew Isrealites, have a community (5k)that's been actually living in Israel since the 70's. So I'm not sure if this movie was about an extremist sect of the group, and whether Kyrie really knows the difference.

i saw people tweeting about this as if it was some sort of conspiracy or duping of the fans when i think it's actually just...smart?

we were never in a position of strength to negotiate a deal. so you wait until you are, or you don't make a deal.

i think if he hadn't been such a d****** so many times previous, this wouldn't be as big a deal. but it's just the latest in a long pattern of things that do and should make teams worry about relying on him as part of your organization.

I understand the part about the teams and not wanting distractions of this ilk. I don't see why he should recieve any additional discipline from the League though.

i think it was also the initial sort of non-apology. i think had he just been like--you know, i should have thought more about the content of that film and my social stature. these specific aspects of the film are incorrect and insane, and i hope i didn't inadvertently suggest that i believed in them or legitimized them in any way for others.

but again, i think the pile on is due to it not being the first offense and the fact that he's kept his name in the press for bad reasons.

This was always the plan. They knew we’d be bad and that they could then say “well, see, no trade will fix this”. It’s the same thing they did at the deadline last year, “no Russ trade is gonna save us, we’ll have 2 picks in the off-season to trade with him instead of 1”. We’re being fed lies and we’re buying it, Rob lied to our faces when he said this team isn’t done making moves unless he’s really that evil and truly means trading for Beverley and signing Schröder.

No- it’s their passive\aggressive way of getting rid of him.

It's going to go this way BECAUSE of the ill-fitting roster Rob put together that's filled with 3rd stringers and square pegs. What a way to waste top end talent and to think this incompetence gets rewarded with an extension...I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Okay then. Well, there you have it... Lakers may be in sell mode now in terms of their players. Lebron is ineligible to be traded this season. Maybe AD gets dealt.

I doubt they knew that Lebron would still be looking for his shot 10 games in. Or AD would be having back issues. We need to go 8-2 to finish out the month. Let's go beat the Clippers tomorrow night!

Based on what LeGM did last season on the floor, nobody can claim this. Let’s just hope it’s the combo of his foot issue and battling that bug going throughout the team.
The fact that AD has been wilting in the fourth quarter is troubling. I’m not sure if that’s the back tightening up or something else.

I really don’t think they will start trading players now just to trade them. From all they have been saying, our FO is going with the “wait and see” approach. I bet we don’t move anyone until near the deadline.

I think they will wait at least until when recently signed free agents can be traded. Zach LaVine could be traded on January 15.

Yeah, and he’s even more injury prone than AD.
I honestly think that Rob has no idea what he’s doing so the timing doesn’t really matter to me anymore.
