Has anyone seen Ham mentioning in his post game presser that they don't want to be a repeater tax team? LOL
Blow it up.. Trade AD & Westbrook for the best packages available. Try to get some draft picks back, etc.
AD doesn't have one in the contract but i'm sure verbally he has a lot of say. LeBron does have a no trade clause and he isn't eligible to be traded until this offseason.
Yeah, and just how well has that worked out for us? I think this season is going to be so unproductive that LeBronze asks out at the end of the year. Unfortunately, why would anyone want him at this point in his career with that absurd salary? If you’re Cleveland, why would you want him to come in and disrupt what you have going? You would have to give up too much to get him in the fold. Great job Jeanie and Rob.
Yeah, I know about LeBronze. AD has pull obviously because of his relationship with Klutch and LeBronze, but if LeGM wants out at the end of the season, our feeble FO will be allowed to move AD. This is what comes along with allowing Klutch to control your Franchise- when things go South, you can’t make a move without their approval. Pathetic. I can guarantee you this, if one of the Buss kids had the strength, intelligence, and balls like their Dad, they would have never allowed Klutch(LeBronze) to gain so much power within the organization.
So, our current culture is based on the definition of insanity. No matter how many years it destroys any chance of us building a winning team, let’s just throw all the money at “stars” who are past their prime and can no longer lead our team to a Championship. Fools. This is why I have stated before and will again that Jeanie is more about making money than building a dominant Basketball Franchise. She has a business mind first and this has overtaken any desire to put in the hard work and actually build something lasting. She thought she could short cut the system and did. She got very lucky for one Bubble Season. LeBronze is her cash cow and she put aside everything else because she knew that no matter what, He would keep them falsely relevant which would keep the money flowing.
For now… Let’s wait and see how it all plays out. He did make the right move by moving Gobert because that guy was played off the floor in last year’s playoffs.
Personal pet peeve time... Einstein never said that "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results". Noone of matter ever did. In fact, it's very much inline with the scientific method to gather more data and eliminate outliers. I'm so very sorry.
It's been ingrained in the culture since the Buss family took over ownership. The most recent example, was that extension we gave to Kobe post-achilles heel. Although the counter argument is that it shows other outside the org that "we take care of our own" and in turn more stars would be willing to come here in the future. That kind of mindset does set back the org multiple years and in the years after Kobe retired, no one came until Lebron (and I think he is the exception to the rule). I mean we couldn't even convince LaMarcus Aldridge to come.
It’s pretty clear at this point, that they extended LeBron to sell tickets. I cannot understand why he would have extended knowing this would be our roster unless he’s either resigned to the fact that this team is done winning and he just loves LA, or they told him they were going to trade Russ and make other moves to be competitive and basically lied to him. Makes no sense to me, it was clear as dang we would suck going into the season as is, and that the roster was designed with Russ not being on it, and then they just didn’t trade him.
